I read Men's Kou recently and really enjoyed it, so now I'm really curious about Joou no Hana – and also because I believe there is entirely too little good adventure shoujo manga in this world.

Youkai Watch was a given I think, considering it was one of the top 10 phrases in Japan this year...

Joou no Hana totally deserves it. It's such an underrated historical shoujo.

Men's Kou is the only title I'm familiar with that on that list...

Kinda curious about Joou no Hana too.

It's amazing. The heroine is not a crybaby but at the same time she's not a super woman either. She's a great heroine.

Wow "Joou no Hana" won! No wonder it sounded quite familiar, I read it some time back but stopped because scanlated stopped... Glad to see that it seems the series has been picked up again.

Congrats to the winners~

I've seen Aoi Honoo around for a while but sadly it isn't licensed or scanlated so I haven't been able to get around to it. Hopefully this award draws some attention to it so that it might be picked up.

Congrats to all the other winners as well.

I could totally see some people not knowing most of these since they aren't even remotely otaku things, but I would imagine most people would be familiar with Yokai Watch by now.

Not even that, they just aren't well advertised.

I didn't really like the Youkai Watch manga at first but it's starting to grow on me.
