Do you have a set amount of principles that you choose to live by?

What are they?

Do you follow them almost religiously?

My way of life is "do whatever you want as long as it doesn't bring unnecessary harm to others". I do not enjoy being told what I am allowed or not allowed to do. I do not like having my life constraint by the chains of what rules society imposes on us. I want to be as free as I can and do whatever I enjoy. While at the same time I acknowledge that peace conquers chaos. And so I do not wish to bring unnecessary harm to others.

Another way of life that I have recently adopted is "As long as I'm alive, it is my duty to live my life to its fullest. And today shall be nothing short of fulfilling."

I live my life to treat others with kindness. And try not to hurt them. In actions or words. Even strangers I don't know. Even people here. It's the one thing I cannot ever see myself doing and feeling good about it.

Sometimes I'm too kind. Too forgiving.

But hey.

I believe in doing good unto others and in setting a good first impression of yourself. But should one try to take advantage of you or harm you, DESTROY THEM!!! (literally or figuratively depending on the situation)

When I was nary even a wee lad, my dad sat me down on upon his knee, bent over and whispered in my ear:

"If she has a big butt, give her the nut."

Thus, a responsible 20th century citizen made his way into the world.

Almost brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

Don't you dare ever say that again. Juushi-chan, you are a wonderful human being, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. You have made more of an impact on my life than anyone.

If you are having troubles with your life and feel like you can't talk to anyone. Then talk to me. I'm just a stranger on the internet, what should I matter right? It should be easy to talk to me if you ever want to. I may not give the best advice, nor do I have the best of ways with my words. But if you need a place to vent your feelings and just let your emotions out then my pm inbox is always open, just for you Juscha.

I think setting principles on how to live life will always lead to mistakes. Do you understand life? Well, I don't completely. Or maybe not at all. So I just try to live my life in a way that fulfills my desires or my motivations.

Quite so. Principles can become quite dogmatic. But the solution here is to not treat it as such, but as a mere guideline to life.

Its a mix of religious , Spiritual , Scientific practices .
Following a righteous path , Being practical and sensible .
Religion and Spirituality is limited to personal growth on a wider Scale .
To be materially aware about Life and its needs .

Based God gave me a reason to live. I was on the edge of killing myself until I heard his music. #tybg

Either way, never thought about it. I just usually go about my business, I guess. But now that I put some thought into it, I guess I live a more realist way of life rather than believing nothing bad will happen as long as you believe in it and stay positive.

When you walk through the garden
you gotta watch your back
well I beg your pardon
walk the straight and narrow track
if you walk with Jesus
he's gonna save your soul
you gotta keep the devil
way down in the hole
he's got the fire and the fury
at his command
well you don't have to worry
if you hold on to Jesus hand
we'll all be safe from Satan
when the thunder rolls
just gotta help me keep the devil
way down in the hole
All the angels sing about Jesus' mighty sword
and they'll shield you with their wings
and keep you close to the lord
don't pay heed to temptation
for his hands are so cold
you gotta help me keep the devil
way down in the hole
"Let Justice Be Done!"

My Theme
I conclude that this theme is in fact good!

Honestly surprised at the amount of people here who say their way of life is to not hurt people.

That's pretty pacifistic. What about those situations where you need to?

I also believe in not bringing harm to others but lately that changed because always thinking about them is not healthy for the kind in the long run. If I had to describe my current ideology with a word it would certainly be "balance".

I live by these philosophy, basically get off your ass and do something better than others or go home. I stopped blaming others and started looking to myself for failure and success.
