Poll: Did you feel that the test gave you a decent description of who you are?

I just thought of something pretty interesting where I believe another reason why I might be switching between personalities is that my online self tends to lean towards INTJ but my real-life self tends to be ISTJ. I'm not portraying that I have a multi-personality disorder or anything XD but just in real life I don't have the initiative through anxiety that online is negated because of the lack of different elements of social interaction.

In turn my online self could actually be my true personality but depending on the environmental factors/situations that I'm currently in could convolute my results. That could be a follow-up to why a lot of psychologist do not support the Myers Brigg 16 because of that inconsistency but I believe that personality is variable and not fixed. My theory does help support my position.

@Hibbington The feeling of having multiple "selfs" comes from the different situations you are in. We all have different "personalities" in different situations. For example one for when we are in school, when we are with parents, when we are with friends. Same goes for ones online "self". As to why you got different results even though you did the test online both times, I think it's because you might have thought yourself in different situations. For example you answer one question thinking you are with your friends and while answering the other question you think you are in MAL. And this is why the result may vary.

"In turn my online self could actually be my true personality...", I don't think it's right to say it's your true personality. It's just a part of your identity just as much as the other "selfs"...

Of course this is just how I see it but this is someone's theory about identity that I read in my developmental psychology course's book...

I used to be an INFP back then, a dreamer who's more idealistic and closed off from extrovert socialization. That was probably five or six years ago. My latest result turned out to be ESFP instead, but even then, I don't feel that it's a strict assessment of my true personality. I have very different moods and I could act a lot of ways depending on them, and the fact that my ESFP result is only a 1% 'E' says a lot about how I zig-zag between introversion and extroversion.

So no, I don't think it's a very reliable test. Decent assessment, yes, but not reliable.

INFP-A Mediator

Introverted 69%
Intuitive 85%
Feeling 57%
Prospecting 100%
Assertive 81%

INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

P.S. I am still not over the fact I got Himedere as a result in a previous test, even though as time passes I am more inclined to believe it

Took the test again after ~7 months.

I got INTP-A
And the changes are quite big. I also became 100% introverted again. Yay

Introvert 100%
Intuitive 68%
Thinking 68%
Prospecting 87%
Assertive 72%

The biggest shift is probably the change from turbulent to assertive and I have no idea what might have caused that.

I'm having people doing housework right now so I did this a little earlier by a couple of weeks from the 6 months since the last time I took this and boy am I glad to say that I have returned to my INTJ but this time I'm a INTJ-A.

Introverted 84%
Intuitive 54%
Thinking 78%
Judging 68%
Assertive 59%

When I have more confidence is when I'm an INTJ from these results over the last 2 years. This is the first time though I've ever been assertive and that might just be because I've taken this test so many times now that I am more confident in my answers. There is still some stuff I'm in the middle of because life hasn't presented those opportunities yet. I couldn't answer 2 questions so I put them in the middle.

So I tend to switch back and forth between INTP-A and INFP-A. They both describe me perfectly-on different days. Sometimes I am lost in my own world, and others, I am extremely centered, so I don't know what to make of that, but there isn't much fluctuation in the other stats.

Introverted: 92%
Intuitive: 73%
Thinking/Feeling: between 52% and 57% either way
Prospecting: 64%

Seems like I've changed from INFJ to INTJ.
I've noticed that my F score has been decreasing over time, but I didn't expect to end up testing as a T.

Well it's been like 2 years since I last did this but it seems things have changed more than I realized in that time. Was INTJ before but welp:

I'm a Mediator(INFP-A)
Intuitive(73%) I expected too be a little more observant
Feeling(54%) This beat thinking by a really slim margin, so its okay.
The whole Meditor group is a little too much based on ideals for my taste, so I'd say this is a little off. The fantasy and dream stuff is somewhat correct, but I feel like I exaggerated it a bit in the questions.

Man I just keep Flip Flop Flipping with this, now I'm a ISTJ-A.

I swear my N and S cannot get on the same page.
Every time I feel I just flip back to other side.

Introverted 95%
Observant 60%
Thinking 84%
Judging 76%
Assertive 52%

Well all the rest of the major 4 moved actually closer to the edge.
But I guess I've become too observant again, I don't mind being in the middle of Intuitive and Observant but 60% might be too much. I might need to step up my Intuition.

hooray for crippling 90% introversion

I never cared much for this test cuz I'm always flopping between N/S and F/T so it's really only about 50% accurate for me at any given time.

All right so I've taken this again and this might be the first time I've gotten ISTJ twice in a row. Not by a lot though mind you.

Introverted 78%
Observant 52%
Thinking 74%
Judging 74%
Assertive 71%

So once again. I do like to carefully plan out anything I do but through that careful planning I like to keep doors open, think about different scenarios that can happen, then adjust accordingly. I find that the best way to use Intuition. That is just ever going battle with my personalty and I've come to accept that. The biggest thing here though is my Assertiveness has never been this high. Does that have to do with me accepting who I am more? I have no idea. But I guess that is the next thing to find out.

@Jessy-sAnime I think something is wrong here if your putting down 46% as the right letter.

I had a feeling it was going to swing very hard into the Observant Side this time.
Sadly I might have to come to the conclusion that for the most part I'll always be more ISTJ test wise even though I feel more connected to INTJ. Just that I do like to plan first and improvise after. I do value both but I do value planning more.

Comparing my results... they are actually pretty similar in Mind and Energy. My % is higher in Feeling and less in Judging now. My biggest change is that I'm more Assertive rather than Turbulent. So... ISFJ-A

I'm a mix of INFP and INTP. Since while my other scales are pretty decisive, my F/T is nearly 50/50. And reading about them, I can certainly see myself really well in both. But INFP does win ever so slightly, since it's always just a little bit on the feeling side. Role group diplomat (even if I can switch analyst if needed, as I said) and strategy confident individualism.

Personality type: INTP-T Logician Role:analyst Strategy:constant improvement

The Logician personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there’s nothing they’d be more unhappy about than being “common”. Logicians pride themselves on their inventiveness and creativity, their unique perspective and vigorous intellect. Usually known as the philosopher, the architect, or the dreamy professor, Logicians have been responsible for many scientific discoveries throughout history.
