| The part right before the ED with the song and Kaneki running through the city with Ayato was great. Gets me pumped for Aogiri interactions. Also, I like Mado's daughter a lot more than I thought I would. Why no little shorts at the end? They were really fun last season. |
| Hmm, so they're keeping some scenes from the manga. A few would include the Arima hype train, the Amon and Akira interactions, and the Touka goes to Kamii. I'm giving the OP a chance by trying to understand it. I like the OST before the ED. I wonder if they'll always do that. Dat Eto tho. |

| Good episode, but it was all talk. It was nice see the Manager's pass as well as Mado. Never knew Mado had a daughter, then again i did remember when he died Touka saw his necklace with his daughter and family. Tbh i don't feel anything to Mado. He looks crazy and they didn't show a lot of relationship between Amon(Manga probably did it better). Damn! I freaking knew i heard Akira's voice! It's Seto Ayami and she did one of my favorite female characters Chihaya from Chihayafuru ^^ Though she sounds more serious this time around. Good stuff :) Lol poor Amon, got turned down without a sec XD Kinda weird seeing Ayato and Kaneki teaming up, but it seems they share a goal together. I hope we return for more action next episode! |

| Had to skip through the OP, I really don't like it. Overall episode was decent, a bit slow paced but quite interesting back story. Didn't get to see much of Kaneki, hopefully that will change in the next episode. |

| There isn't even a trace of the manga personality in Kaneki. He just turned full emo. Like the rest of the characters. And the atmosphere... I could accept episode 1 being about the sorrow of Kaneki losing his human side, but is there really a need to do that for 2 episodes in a row? It's like they have nothing to show, so they fill the airtime with sad songs and reminiscing. |
| God, its so uber boring. Nothing happens. Nothing. Anime about vacuum could be more interesting than this. I cant believe I actually liked 1 season (full of flaws, but overall decent)... Those two eps of s2 are just garbage... Especially this one. |
| I want to see more aogiri and less ccg in the future. Just can't like ccg no matter what , the members are unlikeable with amon being the exception. Didn't like mado's daughter at all seems like a boring know it all character. |

| Akira Mado reminded me so much of L from "Death Note". Loved her, totally! She's got this irresistable attitude, and Damn, I just like her waaay too much! In the end, when Touka looked through the Anteiku glass, the artwork felt pretty beautiful. I loved the episode. Yep, there ain't too much fights or anything, but the episode wasn't slow, either. Kaneki seemed to be leading a boring life. Why do I have this feeling that Anteiku's manager might be the Owl? e.e Weird me, I guess! :v |

| We get a lot of information regarding some of the stuff thats been going on with Aogiri. Mado's daughter joins the CCG. A nice little scene at Anteiku, being open for business again! Not sure who the girl with bandages is, Eto according to the posts on this thread apparently. |

| Kaneki is decked out like he's in the Black Parade. Just sayin, haha It's a bit different from the manga.. But I would still consider it canon. They are portraying Tokyo Ghoul: Root A as another way to tell the story of Kaneki. Instead of making his own group- he joins Aogiri. (Like the special for Clannad when Tomoya hooks up with Tomoyo instead of Nagisa) I'm curious to see how the season ends though. Suppose I'll just have to wait and see :3 |

She's smart to figure out so quick that a ghoul organisation is controlling the 20th ward! no one else figured it out except Hide LOL! |

| Loving this so far! There was definitely a lot less action this episode, but I really like seeing the interactions between the CCG investigators. The scenes right before the ED are so good every episode, they couldn't have chosen better music :) Hope we get to see more of Kaneki soon; I'm still wondering why he decided to join Aogiri. |
| Main concern is why did he join Aogiri? Episode itself was not bad, but it did drag on for quite a bit. Suzuya continues to trigger my trap senses. He is just too cute. Too bad he isn't a girl. |
| There he is Arima from the JACK OVA episode It was relieving to see him back again and Hinami is back good to see her again Amon got himself a new partner and It's Mado's daughter Akira, She has some acquaintances in the room and she's pretty smart too, to say the least hope the two gets along well doubtingly that will happen in the meantime Kaneki with the Aogiri tree organization that's quite new hope he's still a good person inside. |
