| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, definitely nice to see Hinami this episode. That was refreshing. Not as intense as the first episode in terms of action but I guess it was somewhat of an interesting way to bring back the characters on-screen. Amon's face was kinda priceless this episode. With all this buildup, I expect Aogiri Tree to make their move with its members. I wonder how will Kaneki cooperates with these ghouls though including Tatara. |

| The EDs continue to be better than the OP. Those Aogiri missions looked really interesting. I want to see more of them. A lot more. Dat ending scene with Eto-chan <3 |

| Loved this ep :3 Nothing much happened intense action wise but it was nice build up and character interactions ^^ Quite a lot of the CCG parts were from the manga. Only new stuff were Kaneki's side. Seeing Akira's antics owning Amon and all were so fun :P Glad they kept the 33 minutes wasted part and the rejection XD So much Fail from Amon lol Arima!!! And damn he looked BA in the ED art >.< Suzuya was lol as usual ^^ Touka's parts with Yoriko were cute I guess :3 Happy to see more Hinami cuteness <3 Kaneki's already made a name for himself contributing to the 9th and 10th district ownage :O It's interesting how he's working in a team with Ayato XD Dat end!!! Eto's friggin HOT >.<!! We only saw the lower half of her face but it's something u can tell :3 Dem Lips <3 And DAMN the OST is so good!! Liking it even better than S1. Can't wait for the release >.< |

| So we start the episode off by showing a memory from the past with a younger Mado and when they fought the One Eyed Owl eh. Ohooo, a ghoul with an eyepatch and his team conquered the 9th and 10th wards... I guess Kaneki is the one kicking some ass XD. So Hinami's doing okay and Touka wants to enter the same college that Kaneki attended, I guess that's a not a surprise though. Hmmm, the situation doesn't bode well for CCG at all... Hide's freaking Sherlock Holme's reincarnation lol. Well... damn... Amon's new partner is Mado's daughter... she's looking smexy hot and she's freaking smart as well... Akira-chan eh... Amon just got owned by Akira so I presume it'll end up as Amon x Akira XD. So Kaneki didn't leave Anteiku because he got tired of coffee at least. That's quite the nice room Eto has there as she took off her bandages and she seems rather cute... well... what we saw does at least XD. Nice episode and I can't wait to see more. |

| I liked this ep too. I liked that they take time to show people's feelings after the fight and Kaneki's parting. I liked the way how peaceful and simple the life in Anteiku were portrayed to be, the polar opposite of the life in Aogiri. I just wished all the time to see more Aogiri and Kaneki, but the little I saw of them were really striking and exciting. Maybe at the next ep... |

| Not much happened here, but I had the clear feeling that THIS is where season 2 should have begun. It was clear that this episode was setting up a ton of plot threads for the rest of the series to work with. It'll be interesting to see where those plot threads go, especially if we see more of those Aogiri missions that Kaneki is involved in. |
| Akira is seems like a very interesting character seems like she likes to keep to herself. I loled when she was like no dinner I don't eat after 21:00 see ya and Amon was like WTF. I also liked the pacing better than S1 so far. I loved the new ED arts very nicely done hopefully someone will put them on tumblr. |

| THE ARIMA TEASERS THOUGH... I'm really enjoying how they're directing this season in comparison to the first. These first 2 episodes already have easily hooked me more than any of the first 11 episodes of season 1 that was a massive rush-fest. Very surprised to see what Eto did at the end. Though, the only thing I don't like so far and hope doesn't become a massive problem is the lack of monologues from Kaneki. The one good thing about the first season was that we were always in the head of the main character Kaneki but if season two is going to keep how he's feeling when put under different situations a mystery then it'll get bland quickly. Last thing to talk about, THE TWINS. (Manga spoilers incoming, read at your own risk) |

Kaneki being Ayato's partner, really looking forward to more Aogiri action! Hinami wearing her gift already ^^ Didn't think that there would be this much about the investigators and Anteiku's side. Seeing Eto's interest in Kaneki, more Aogiri please! |

| First of all I've gotta say this.... THAT ARIMA TEASER THOUGH!!! Honestly this is already better than the first season now that the pacing is handled better. It was a good buildup episode with a lot of foreshadowing and information shown. I didn't expect to see the battle between owl and CCG that happened 10 years ago. The introduction of Akira was done really well and same goes to her interactions with Amon and Seidou. Too bad Amon got rejected lol. Overall most of the episode covered some of the information that was missed out in the first season but there's a lot still remaining for them to cover. Loved the ost at the end and the ending arts done by Ishida. 5/5 Btw Eto's lips though... |

| I feel like this 1 episode helped me understand more about the wards compared to how season 1 tried to explain them. Also, for some odd reason I thought 1 eyed ghouls were more rare than they currently are (saw 2 more ghouls that seemed to be some twins at the end each with 1 eye). Other than that, I like the pacing in this season. Everything seems to be flowing pretty well compared to season 1. |
| I was waiting for Kaneki the whole episode. My experience would've been better if I just kept a fresh mind. |
