| I agree with Kazekage, I was amazed that they wacked the main character after four eps too. It really, REALLY makes me want to keep watching to see what's going to happen next. How are they going to tell the story now? And the whole "this was in 1983" thing really flipped me out. I'll have to jump right back on this after I get back from work. .___. |

| Wow. I can't believe they killed all of the main characters already. I was flipping out dog this episode. It was so creepy. Definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Makes me want to hurry up and finish the series to see what's gonna happen. How can they continue? Yeah I was thinking that this didn't happen in 1983, but is merely a repeat of the events that took place. I'm curious to see how this is going to go. |

| good lord this is now officially my favorite anime. course i cant get a higurashi poster and put it anywhere near my bed cause then ill never sleep 0_0 "you cant kill me that easily" *swings bat and changes to next episode* all night anime watching session anyone? its like 3 am at this point all lights off and i am loving and /hating it at the same time :'''(''''' *cry* (see that im reduced to making emoticons and ampersands to express just how epic this anime is. i may have to buy this on disc like... tomorrow....or tonight. O_O on this episode itself i have to say the worst part was the "punishment game" or whatever it is in english. im pretty used to needes and stuff i deal with them on a regular basis but DAMN that scared the shit out of me... IMHO though it would have been worse if they tried to force him to eat needle-ridden ohagi... a huge fear for anyone who is under 30... back in the 80's when they had to commercials and news reports telling parents to make sure their kids don't eat unwrapped candy cause there could be razor blades in it(come on you gotta remember that, it was all over the news like every halloween until like 3 years ago) i cant believe they killed off (keichi i think his name was, if its not forgive me but for the sake of this i will stick with that name) keicchi, its gonna be sad cause i really liked him as a main character, he has the fear in him, but is also so strong because of that fear, im not sure if i could have gone back to school and talked to the ppl who were trying to kill me. Cant wait to see where it goes from here on out. |

| That certainly fulfilled the promise made right at the beginning of Episode 1. It was fairly clear something like that was going to happen when the bat was introduced, but I wasn't expecting the main character to die as well! |

| Seriously if keiichi don't want to die, he shouldn't get soo involved in these things. the reason why he got killed because he knows too much about the girls' secrets and being super nosey to tell the detective about this and that. |

| So, I decided to start watching each arc after finishing the VN, unlike what I did with Umineko. I can now see why people bitch about both Higurashi and Umineko's anime. They move too damn fast, and don't even mention some important things. God, DEEN. What the fuck is wrong with you? |
