Inaho might already have a feeling that the princess is fake. If you remember in season one, Inaho already explained to Asseylum how the sky is blue with the Rayleigh effect. This happened when they were talking outside the carrier ship while it was sailing through the seas.

The end of the first episode of season two is giving a hint that Inaho already is finding something wrong with the "princess asseylum" that is doing the announcement.

Exactly and, remember in the anime, the new princess said that she hates vain people. When Inaho exposes her guise due to her lack of scientific knowledge, that'll get her attention in more ways than one ;)

I hope Eddelrituo converts the new princess and she kills Saazbaum, then they try to rescue Asseylum, but then Slaine shows up and is killed by Asseylum. And then both princesses and Eddelrituo escape to Earth.
