Slaine still working for the count, Inaho back with everyone. Asseylum in coma with another princess taking her identity. All the miracles, I honestly am still sort of hyped though.

Would be interested to see how this all turns out at the end. Wonder If I would come to like Slaine.

Slaine wasn't so dumb in the end.

Because if he came back to Mars without the count, he would not have the assurance that the princess would be saved. So he kept Saazbaum alive. Wondering what he is planing now.

A kiss can activate aldnoah power? OMG.. this part sucked, really. If a kiss is enough to have aldnoah power so Slaine has it to doesn't he?

I did enjoy watching the episode ... but everyone being alive is a bit....

Anyway looking forward to seeing how this plays out!

My hate for slaine just keeps getting stronger and stronger. and i didnt think that was possible. I dont care if he eventually turns good or not, if he doesnt get shot by inaho at the end, im gonna seriously gonna go berserk

Not a bad episode. The wind in space made me laugh but I give them props on everything else. All the useless stuff I wondered why they did that in the first season is actually being put to use now. Though someone should have been wearing a mask there is no ifs or buts on that.

Well a bullet in the head fixed Inahos personality. Best character for me anyway.

And ofcourse noone died. From the begining the first season should have ended that princess only get kindnapped and noone should get shoot in the first place.

What's going on? Was the writer reading comments/post here on MyAnimelist or something?

1. Inaho was shot in the head (in the eye socket) and alive.
2. Princess Asseylum in Wheel Chair was fake (pretty obvious).
3. Princess Asseylum was alive and being held on a healing facility inside of something (What was it called?)
4. Slaine let Count Saazbaum live and joined the Orbital Knights.
5. The ability to activate an Aldnoah Drive was possible to be transferred by a kiss (Which is like a disease/virus and is stupid or maybe even by sex or blood transfusion.)
6. The Fight between Orbital Knight (Martian Empire) and United Earth Forces (Earth) continues.

Anyway it's great that this was back and Inaho and Princess Asseylum was Alive!... And Fuck You GAY Slaine!!!

It's definitely not the worse but episode one honestly was pretty dumb.
Inaho survived a headshot and can use aldnoah now. He is plot armored to the teeth.
I didn't think it was possible for me to dislike Slaine anymore than I already did.
Also looks like the princess also sort of survived a headshot as well.

Like really the plot armor is pretty annoying. Still a fairly good episode over all.

*sighs again* Okay, this is going to be an M-anime for me then... The premise of the series is just too good to drop it, I'll try to see it through - even rewatched the ep to see if I missed anything major.... That 'spacewind' is just outright stupid though. The 'wind' in space doesn't function like on Earth, yet they used it in a similar fashion. Oh well....

I cant believe the kiss theory was validated.
Aleast they didn't drag out the inaho is dead no hes alive just wait and see.
So Princess is alive but still planning to do things there own way which is messed up.
War on earth and having a fake princess pretend to be her is so underhanded.

I think I dislike Inaho more than Kirito. So he's a robot now, huh? At least they now have a reason for him having no personality...

The hate is so real, that when they say they will drop this series, they will comeback next week to hate on it even more ^.^

I actually curious if they just hired people to be a double as they do in real life or with a more sci-fi take on it; cloned her.

Yes, Slaine and fake princess will die in the last episode. Inaho will never die anymore aoong with real princess, they escape already the true death.

But i'm glad with this, i really hate Slaine as a new MC and fortunately is not the case.

Utter crap. I gave the first season 10/10, but this one starts at 4/10. Inaho casualy wasting the enemy kat like it was nothing does not help. Looks like they kept all the few annoying features of the original, while adding a whole lot of asspulls, why?
And, yea, fuck Slaine.

Inaho back in action and kicking ass with physics. So there was another princess that was probably hidden in the shadows huh, maybe she had a terran mother.

for me its like it was with Guilty Crown. i just wanted to see how bad they could fuck this up...and damn was it worth it! I have GREAT expectations of aldnoah zero in this aspect :D

Agreed. The scene where Keep on keeping on started playing during Inaho's comeback felt epic to watch.

GaryInaho is back with style. Getting all the chicks wet and providing you with this week's dose of pseudo-science. While Slaine got a pet sex slave and a comatosed Asseylum, to add to his leisure. Wow.

We also got some InkoxRayetxNina beachservice, in preparation to a malevolent battle and Inaho's free kill for the week. What a way to add in some atmosphere. Wowzerz.

I didn't know how I could miss this masterpiece so much. All hail Slaine. Soo many people are hurt because of the negarive feedback, targeted towards their favourite animuu. ;<

Not even the god-tier soundtrack can save this show..

Really... Everyone knew no one died it was obvious, as for Inaho being able to active the Aldnoah Drive was it really the kiss? They seem to mention the fact the blood on him is not his and looks like he ends up getting a droplet in his mouth.

Seems to me like now he might have some of Princess Asseylum's blood in his system which is what would active the drive, or maybe just her blood being in proximity allowed the drive to be activated.

*shrugs* seems more plausible then the kiss and assuming its not that does seem odd to show it.

Do people not remember this is based in the far future? Of course a bullet wound to the head would be easily repairable...

there is simply too much CGI in this show. this is by no means amazing animation. its average at best with the big minus of overused 3d CGI effects.

It's just the first episode, but this didn't feel any different from the past Aldnoah episodes:

-Inaho is way smarter than the average veteran soldier (not really a criticism but stop making it so apparent that the MC is OP)
-There are some exposition stuff in the first half and then a fight in the second half (the generic formula that the show has always used)
-The asspulls. All characters are alive. After setting up that rather shocking (?) finale to a first season, they decide to bring them all back to life. That's not how you start another season. Move on from the old and start with the new... Don't have characters who were going to die linger on like clingy ex-lovers.

The writers of this show needs to sit down with Gen Urobuchi and really go over what he wants. What the current writers are doing is dragging on a story with great potential with idle chatter and explanations and slipping in a fight or two if the series feels like it gets too boring. To try and keep the interest level up even more, writers slip in bad cliffhangers/plot twists that just wastes screen time (e.g. spends about 5 minutes showing princess getting strangled to death, then next episode spends about 10 minutes bringing her back to life).

My rant aside, I'll keep watching to see if the series improves. But overall a lackluster start.

Episode gets a 7/10, it still has it's obvious flaws that season 1 had.
Inaho is back and with a cyborg eye. I like it. People complaining that he should have an eye patch. . . . . .
Also the princess is basically dead. She's slaines pet now. Didn"t really like the ED but it wasn't horrible.

Inaho also now has the power of aldnoah. NICE.

It's set in 2014 (well it'd be 2015-2016 now since it's 19 months later), numbnuts.

Damn..... what happened........ What the heck is this trash?........Its not even fun anymore...
