season 2 episode 1st is so great and that is very cool that kenike change his character...love it ![]() |
WAIT! WHAT? EVERYTHING WAS NICE UNTILL THAT DECLARATION AT THE END. I AM NOT SURE HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THAT! ![]() |
Huh, this should've been the finale for Season 1. It felt like one and had its momentum. I completely don't get why the creators decided to end the first season the way they ended it and at the same time started Season 2 like that, with an episode that has the vibes as if it was something like... hmm, belated Season 1's finale? I think that kind of name is good here. I did not like the new OP, by the way. And the episode in general was very good, I really enjoyed it... but again: I had a problem watching this episode, because it felts as if it was a belated final episode of the previous season. ![]() |
Wow there's a ton going on in this and I wasn't always sure who I should be rooting for. It's unclear to me how many ghoul factions there are and which one is Aogiri? They're the 'bad' ghouls, or at least the one's that are fighting the government agency. So, now to figure out whether Kaneki joining them makes since, is he stronger and broken? Are the ghouls fighting for their lives and rights or just terrorists. Is Kaneki betraying his friends? Hopefully, I'll get some answers (from the show) soon. ![]() |

Probably one of the worst OPs I've ever heard in my life. ![]() |
Doesn’t look like this season will be very interesting to me, but I’ll see. Not a lot of people like the new op, but it’s actually pretty good and relaxing, there seems to be some symbolism. I’d like to think that it symbolises that Kaneki, at first, still believed that he was human. And then hands (supposedly Rize’s hands) with painted nails rise up from his chest to his face, he now has his mask and eyepatch on. I think it represents that Rize has now brought him to accept himself as a Ghoul. After that, hands come out from behind his back and cover his face and his mask disappears. I’m not too sure who that could be but it might be Touka or maybe his mother(?). Maybe it symbolises that he will be brought back to Anteiku, where Ghouls who don’t want to eat humans go. I’m actually not too sure. The hands disappear, blood starts to pour out of Kaneki’s right eye. Oof, I typed a bit too much. This probably doesn’t even make any sense ![]() |
I share the same opinion as most people that this season's intro is not that good, I think it would have been better as outro I honestly think this episode would have been a better last episode for season 1 as it kind of gives closure to the ongoing battle and what Kaneki chooses to become (leaving behind anteiku because he discarded his former self) ![]() |
What the hell is going on in this episode? I guess it takes place straight after the last episode in season 1 or something? I've heard that this season is really bad and if it is, I hope Juuzou gets more screen time because that'll make it a lot better~ ^^ ![]() |
Not a huge fan of the OP but oh well. I kind of like Kaneki's change but we've only really seen a glimpse so far so my views my change. Also kind of pissed he's joining Aogiri after everyone helped rescue him and I can't tell why he's doing it but I'm sure it will be resolved. ![]() |
I think Kaneki joined Aogiri so Antique will not be in danger anymore. He sacrificed himself... ![]() |
I don't like the new op. Probably just because the first was so good. I also was not expected he would go to the other ghouls. He probably did it to protect everyone else. I can't tell if I like it yet. ![]() |
