AGK appearing in the ranking surprised me, I guess we gotta hand it to Whitefox convincing some fans in following the manga after they went anime original.

*1. 1,441,768 1,441,768 One Piece Vol.76
One Piece remains the king. It dwarves the others with only two days of sale.
*2. *,378,403 *,378,403 Haikyuu!! Vol.14
A kind reminder that I have to watch this.
*3. *,254,704 *,254,704 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu Vol.12
I'm expecting this to sell 1.5million+ after the anime boost.
*4. *,218,239 *,464,971 Tokyo Ghoul:re Vol.1
I wonder whether this will reach 700k by the end of the year.
11. *,132,448 *,132,671 Akame ga Kill! Vol.11
28. *,*48,587 *,*48,587 Akame ga Kill! Zero Vol.2
Jesus, so Akame ga kill actually had a boost? To be honest, it might look small but if you take into account the fact that it was selling like 25k in its first week before the anime, then that's actually apretty significant boost.
12. *,131,035 *,443,988 Detective Conan Vol.85
<3
39. *,*45,261 *,144,466 Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns Vol.4
Too bad, this got removed from our book shops. Glad it still seels well.

AKG got a huge boost compared to previous volume. The previous volume sold 52,241 copies in its two weeks on the charts. I guess the anime adaptation did wonders for the manga.

Aren't the limited edition part of vol 15's sales? Vol 15 should be at 1.6 or 1.7 mil by now overall.
Besides, when is volume two of BNHA released. You said somewhere that it had 600,000 prints. It would be interesting to follow the birth of a potential cultural phenomenon.

And that's why I said the normal version,it still wasn't enough to outsell total sales of volume 15.

As for Boku no hero, the volume started to sell today in Japan the amount of copies printed was on one of the chapters released on Shounen Jump.

Tokyo Ghoul:re is selling really great. I hope it ends up selling 700K.

Now I'm really anxious on whether Tokyo Ghoul Root A will give the series a boost or not.

Current arc is fantastic. The anime is really close so its stretching however there is a tonne of interesting new and old characters, lots of epic fights etc.

Akatsuki no Yona:
Volume 14: 38,985 (3 days) 68,479 (10 days)
Volume 15: 40,411 (3 days) 70,067 (10 days)
(after anime)
Volume 16: 62,826 (3 days) 108,612 (10 days)

Wo0t! Wow, it exceeded my expectations and got a second week of 45k bringing it to over 100k! A third week is probably not quite possible but it still has one more full cour to go, so it can get more fans plus this is only the first volume after the anime. Great news. So give my Fukumenkei Noise anime please, Hakusensha!

This is a surprise. How come the previous volume sold so badly while this one sold decent?
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Several reasons:
The MC was still a complete weakling
AGK anime going anime original only(I think Mines death convinced a certain amount of fans to read the manga).
The last chapters were great.

I think it might have to do with the fact that no new volume is released when the anime is still running until December 22 where the anime already ended.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Akame_ga_Kill!_chapters

Anime running is from July 6, 2014 – December 14, 2014.
