| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finished watching the pre-screened episode from another site. The first half was more amusing than I had thought. Maria's first entrance (2nd entrance to the battlefield was better although first one was kinda amusing) wasn't very flashy but I think she made the point. Business picked up in the second half and I thought production I.G. did a fairly good job with animating some of the action like the mass arrow shooting. Gotta love some of the creatures in this series already though even if it they seemed a bit odd. That's a nice dragon they are on heh The theme song was catchy I suppose. |

| Hahaha! A kiss, even on the hand is just too much for a virgin! Poor Maria! (Damn, she is cute!) Yep, and since she happens to be a witch, she might as well stop the war just for that! And by showing off with a Dragon too! I wonder if there will be any romance involving Joseph and Maria. Joseph does seem to admire Maria. But it's hard to tell if it's just admiration or there's something more to it. I mean he longed to see her when he believed this is it for him! The little girl Anne sure took a liking of Maria! But I noticed how Anne's father cautioned her that it will be a problem if her meeting with Maria is out. Which means the churches obviously don't want people to be in touch with the witches (such a shame, since Maria is so damn cute! And she even goes out of her way and disguises as an old school witch just to give children like Anne something they have always looked up to) Didn't really like this Garfa guy just after his introduction in the beginning (even though he is voiced by Ono Yuuki) when he assumed Joseph wouldn't come out of this alive. But I thought I will give the character some redeeming points when he saved Anne's father. (Well, soon afterwards, Joseph covered his ass. so much for thinking a comrade dead even before the actual fight) It seems witches are meant to support war since when Maria said she despises war the other witch from England (I think she said she was from Winchester) was taken by surprise. | This was a nice start , I like how it at least tries to be serious most of the time keeping a consistent tone, without trying to be too overly dramatic and forcing in random humor despite the premise being rather silly, I look forward to episode 2 |
| Nice first episode, the animation is quite good and the characters are decent. The plot is interesting, leaving some unanswered questions for the following episodes. I feel encouraged to watch this. The howl is so perverted it is funny. This may be my first time hearing someone talking about BJ's in anime. |

| At the moment this is the only anime I started to watch of the Winter's season and I love it :3 The conversation of Maria and Artremis was so... strange xD I liked it so much |

| Heh heh, I can't pass up on a show about a witch, especially one about a virgin witch in medieval times. Should be interesting, and the first episode didn't disappoint, and I liked how Maria and Artemis just click, which I wonder is what's to be expected between witch and succubus. Unless it's unusual for a witch and succubus to be BFFs, but Maria seems to be an unusual witch anyway. It was nice to watch, and I'll definitely keep on watching. |

| Had no clue going in other than a lot of positive comments, glad I checked it out. Maria is cute, seems pretty badass and has a hot succubis as a familiar. The sexual innuendo was hilarious, especially the part about the succubis' jaw hurting and Maria not having a clue. Liked the medieval setting and thought the art was done really well. Suddenly Parasite isn't the only anime I look forward to each week. |

| i really enjoyed the first episode, while the battle was nicely developed i think it was a bit ridiculous, Why france did not have archers in the first time? anyway, the dragon coming out of the cauldron was priceless, the show so far has made me remember kill la kill, were the characters are completely serious 90% of the time, with occasional jokes and funny moments that dont fell too forced, but the show itself does not take himself too seriously. It just wants to keep you wanting to see more, the story again remembered me with kill la kill a completly foolish plot that makes you stay in tone for whats next, becouse come on a virgin witch trying to stop a war?, with this i dont say i hated it, so far it was very entertaining. We dont know what is exactly the role of witches, how many times has maria shown in the midst of a battle wich will be the role of garfa and the english witch, if the bracelet will give annes father problems, and most importantly how will the relation between joseph and maria will go on. so there are plenty of questions to be answered, up to now this animation looks pretty good i hope it keeps up the hype. |
| Haha that was interesting. It's only the first episode so I still have no idea really what's going on, but it was a fun episode to say the least. Plus, I really liked the voice acting too. Usually I don't like Kanemoto Hisako's voice all that much, but recently it's the opposite. OnoKen's voice in this is also quite different from the usual that I hear from him, aside from I guess Shun from ShoHolly and Raichi from DnA. Either he's been improving a lot recently or he's just never utilized more diverse voices before due to casting. Anyways, looking forward to seeing more of what this is abnout. |

| A medieval anime! That was pretty enjoyable to see Maria stopping the skirmish between the two countries. Maria thinking a lot from a kiss on the hand xD Artemis is pretty awesome too. Liked how both side said they could've win. Really looking forward to the next episode! |

| Boring. 2boring4me. The character designs aren't appealing at all. They kinda look stupid to be honest. The episode wasn't captivating enough. It doesn't make me want to continue. The comedy was good only a couple of times. It just isn't interesting enough. The succubus was kinda funny but that's it. The guy looked stupid just like everyone else. Might give it another episode or two to see if it picks up or not. I don't have my hopes up too much. |

| Surprise of the season. What really felt off for me though, was the pacing so far. Aside from that we got a great female MC, great setting, unorthodox character designs that worked well for me, and not even Ecchi focused despite some skimpy outfits and nudity (without being the focus of the show, as it's censored without any other option for it to be otherwise, great) and the episode was really amusing, but I didn't find it funny again because the pacing felt off, and the timing of the jokes was not exactly the best. The manga has like, 25 chapters? Unless they add anime original content, a slower pacing can work much better. If it follows the manga without adding anything, I expect a really short anime. Moyashimon's mangaka creates quite surprising things. I need to check the manga out when it will be fully translated, I bet I'm going to enjoy it even more :) |

| Not a bad start, I really liked this one now :D. The setting, characters, art, and animation looked really good. I had some good laughs, and that dragon at the is too op I guess. Maria is pretty funny at the end there XD. I hope it will be an action adventure mode throughout the course of the series :D. |

| Seems like a mix of the 2 shittiest shows of last season: Bahamut and Madan no Ou but surprisingly this one is enjoyable. Again a decent show rated retardingly low. #2400 rly? The same was with Donten ni Warau last season until it jumped to #1100 in the end. |
