I'll binge watch if it catches my attention. Otherwise I'll watch something until I feel like I've had enough

I find watching anime little by little to leave a bigger impression than marathoning

It really depends on the length of the show though. For instance, a long running show leaves bigger expressions when you marathon them, and short shows leave a bigger expression when you watch them little by little.

If it's a shitty anime, probably best to marathon.

I can watch up to around 15 a day on vacation if I'm not playing videogames.. If I watch more than 10 episodes in a row I start getting burnt out/unable to focus enough on the anime to enjoy it the the fullest extent.

But in normal times when I'm not on vacation, I average around 3 episodes a day.

It might depend on the series you are watching too. Some episodic shows are really good for spacing out the watching over some days, but that's not to say you can't get enjoyment out of them through marathoning. Just saying some episodic shows with interesting themes/messages its nice to just sit on it for a while to let that sink in before you continue.

It really just depends on whether the anime is episodic or not. I honestly like watching as much episodes as I can in whatever spare time I have regardless of its type.

I like being able to chose how many episodes I can watch. But if the anime is currently airing then I sometimes wait until it finishes to marathon, currently I'm not doing that..

Behold of my awesomeness~

I'd say it's better to watch a little everyday, let it sink in.
Don't bother if you don't know how special effects were done without computers.

It's way better to watch a little everyday. It's just healthier, but it also helps you to complete more anime because you are less likely to get burnt out or tired of anime since you're watching a little at a time.

Hmm.

I personally like watching in burst. Like today, for instance, I watched some Log Horizon, Naruto, Akame ga Kill episodes I missed and liked how it was back to back and not overboard watching, but I've had my share of watching an anime in a whole sitting and will continue to do so if I really enjoy the anime that is longed past aired.

I don't marathon more than 10 episodes these days, and the 10 is for shows I'm enjoying. Everything else I watch far less.

For psychological or really serious anime, I watch little by little. I can marathon everything else though.

I usually watch a lot at time, regardless of the quality of the show.

You do make a valid point but I rather watch anime in one sitting if I can. I like watching one anime series at an time. I don't like juggling more than one anime series at once.

If I am doing a marathon the max I go is 6 a day, which is the same amount of time as an average movie these days.

My biggest reason for this is I would start losing concentration if I don't give it a break and eventually get burned out or miss important details. That and for productivity purposes.. can't really use more time than that unless it's a weekend.

I don't watch that much per day, I'm not kind of person who would watch 20 or more episodes in one day. Or if I do watch a bit more than usually, I almost always jump between titles, watching few episodes of each. Unless anime is so good and addictive that I can't wait and want to watch now, more. But even then, I can live without it, so I don't have to watch it too. I feel like watching a bit daily is better, just in case to spend more fun time with anime and leave it for more days. ^^

Also, I personally don't like watching anime all at once because then I feel like I over-hype the show and think it's so glorious. Then I go back and watch it and I'm like... "what was I thinking?! It's not THAT good."
But it doesn't stop me from doing it. I always tell myself to watch one episode per day but then I end up watching a whole series! :-P

Depends on the show: if it is really good, I watch it until I finish it, if not, I see 2-3 episodes and move on to another anime and return the next day to it.

Whatever you feel like. I marathon 12 eppers, but I still take 10 - 30 minute breaks between eps if I feel like it.

Obviously for the ones with more eps I just do the same except I'm far more prone to taking breaks and they will often be far longer too. Even for 24 eppers I may watch a couple eps, leave it a week or two and come back, who knows.

I just can't watch a lot of episodes in just 1 day. I watch ~6 episodes from different animes(1~2 of each) a day and I prefer this way. When I watch at once I forget all about the anime xD

if its short (like 12 or less) I prefer to watch it all in one or two days, I have a tendency of burning myself out on the longer ones though....

Keep up with around 15-ish ongoing anime, and around 3 episodes a day of whatever I'm watching. On weekends the number goes up to around 6-8.

For the most part, I usually limit myself to around 2 to 3 episodes per day. That being said, I feel like finishing an entire anime in one sitting is kind of tiring, I'd much rather let the episode(s) sink in overnight before continuing. I tend to watch episodes in larger quantities when I enjoy the anime. Although, this doesn't necessarily mean that I don't enjoy an anime if I don't watch it often. So I guess it just depends on a number of variables.

I prefer watching a bit of everything, like on a TV channel. But if I find an anime very interesting, then I watch it more often.

Well, I have never yet watched an airing anime, I always pick an anime and watch it in my free time if I'm in the mood. Usually it takes me 1 or 2 days to finish a 12 episode anime. The most I have seen so far in a day was 25 episodes, twice - I watched Kill la Kill and Steins;Gate in one sitting.

If it's a short series (13 episodes), I'm impatient and have to finish it in a day

No option is "better" than the other. You can watch anime depending on your life situation and your overall mood. If I am feeling in a good mood, then i may watch more episodes.

Depends.
Some shows, particularly those shounen-action types, lend well to marathoning.
Slice of life, comedies, and many slower, somber, more dramatic anime are best experienced as an episode or two a day. Too much would feel a bit overwhelming.
