for me i watched deen, i liked the start and the final episode mostly, then i heard about the NV, read it in 2 weeks, and my hobby of reading light novels/visual novels began(and began to abandon anime in general, unless original content)

Zerochan images don't work here btw.

Going to have to save the image, and upload it to imgur if you want it to display.
Didn't want to display it actually. This one's too big for that

Watched DEEN/stay night after I caught a glimpse of it's video thumbnail on youtube back in 2006. Loved Saber and thought of Archer as "pretty cool", everyone else: satisfactory.

4 years later, I decided to read (after finally learning about it). Needless to say, it was my 1st visual novel. I then began ignoring animes, preferring their VN counterparts.

Watched Kara no Kyoukai and thought it was God-tier. Decided to seek out anything I could find from Type-moon and/or ufotable. So obviously, when this was announced, it immediately went on my must watch list. I'm also planning to finally get around to playing the VN during the hiatus, as soon as I finish up the far-side routes of Tsukihime.

watched fate zero first, tought it was pretty good. Watched DEENanime and thought it was shit and I just hoped that ufotable would make a huge 75 episode series with all the routes (I was 13 okay). Earlier this year, I saw knk and I got interesting in the whole nasuverse, overarching mechanics thing. I started reading f/sn vn and tsuki manga. It took me many months but I finally finished f/sn and it was one of the best things I've ever experienced. (I still think I prefer knk though)

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

Wow, I can't imagine watching knk is chronological order. It seems so silly.

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

Dropped the Deen's FSN at around episod 6 due to staccato plot and stupidly irritating characters. By then i didn't care at all about Type moon stuff and honestly i enjoyed seeing people ridiculing it on internet (The "people die when they're killed" meme being one of them) But then i got pretty interested when Fate Zero got announced. More accurately because Urobuchi, which at the time was my favorite writer, was heavily involved in it. I found FZ to be a thoroughly engaging and exciting show that managed to explore most of the main characters meaningfully, definitely the best show from 2011.

Sometimes later i was again excited when UBW was announced due to it being produced by ufotable that follows the source materials more faithfully. initially i found it amazing and engaging at first where i was hunting down the raws from chinese source before the eng subs came out. By episode 5, I started to watch only once the sub was out, and by episode 9, I only started to accumulate the eps and skipped through them with fast-forward when I had something to drink. That’s how my feelings changed throughout the show.

I started with Fate/Zero. No regrets.

I first heard about it in this huge anime thread on sevenstring.org and some people were talking about the show, posted some awesome GIFs. I started it on a whim without knowing anything about the series and got pulled in almost right away.

Never read the VN and don't plan to.

Lol, I saw a video of best anime openings in 2011 and saw "Oath Sign" (F/Z op 1) was in it, and I got intrigued since the scenes in it looked cool. Then I researched and realized that this is actually the prequel to what I already heard of, (though only a tiny bit) of F/SN, so I started with DEENight, then UBW 2010 then F/Z, and now watching Ufotable's adaptation of UBW. Read only a bit of the prologue in the VN, and real life really not allow me to find time for me to finish it, so I putted the VN on hold.

Some time after I got into visual novels, I randomly decided one day to read the F/sn VN. And that's about it.
