| I like the lyrics that go with the opening. The line where Ace is walking to his execution "with every tear we shed, we grow stronger, and with every tear, our memories grow, grow, grow much stronger!" is reassuring seeing how miserable the series has gotten recently! It's like it's promising us that no matter how many times Luffy loses or gets close to losing, no matter if he loses the people he loves, by enduring he will grow stronger than ever and those memories will never fade! I love Nami's look this episode with her shades. I also see the waver wasn't Merry themed so this takes place before Thriller Bark it seems. EDIT: My friend mentioned Brook is here and therefore its obviously post Thriller Bark and the studio just goofed. What was I thinking!??! Reanimated reminiscings on the characters pasts are nice. It's always great to see our heroes as little babies again. The moment it was revealed the Amigo pirates were a joke I knew Largo had to be a power user. The spiky net is a good one for fighting against Luffy. Even if he expands to try and break it the spikes will only dig deeper into him. It seems this is a rescue mission for the other Straw Hats, and boss. I loved how Luffy didn't view the Amigo pirates as a threat in any manner. He finished eating without a care in the world before happily walking over to them and telling them to leave due to his respect and understanding of boss. It's prime Luffy behavior. |

| Little East Blue might be a bit different from where they were from but one can definitely see the resemblance and the nostalgia that comes with it. I need that Orenami statue to grace my garden! Those goddamn Amigo Pirates are destroying a lot of things that are precious to those who live there. Luffy better send them back to where they came from but it'll be a bit troublesome. |
