| Kana got herself got essentially. But still, this was a great episode and the lack of genuine empathy shown by Shinichi by being unable to cry whatsoever despite even being self-aware about that and reminded about that by others too, showcases how deeply the parasite cells have affected him beyond just the supernatural abilities. Even him hitting his head against the tree and bloodying himself up didn't change that. RIP Kana though, she wasn't the greatest character in the world but she was fine, plus Miyuki Sawashiro voiced her too so there goes me hearing her angelic voice for the rest of the anime. |

| Two down, one more to go, though it's a shame as she was more tolerable than Miss 'You are Izumi, aren't you?' If they could just get rid of useless characters like this, the show could actually start getting better. |

| Yikes, Kana was absolutely retarded. Shinichi warned her multiple times yet she still didn't listen. Not really a tragic death since she was a weird obsessive stalker. So weird how so many people liked her character. |

| I don't feel bad about Kana's death, she was annoying, creepy (why would you keep a hair and then tie it around your finger? I thought something interesting was going to happen with that hair, but nope) and honestly kinda dumb. But I also think she had a lot of potential with her ability to sense parasites being a human, but everything had to be reduced to "I love you, you're the man of my dreams", jeez, what a waste. I hope at least we get an explanation about this later. And is it only me or why would Shinichi have to cry for her? Yeah, it's sad when someone dies, but he barely knew her and they weren't close friends. His mom is one thing, but this girl? On the other hand, Shinichi killing that parasite was a cool scene. |
