| When you go to school for contemporary art, you see stuff like this all the time, and it took at least a year for me to learn how to properly appreciate it. This is probably one of the cooler things I've seen, though I'm not really sure what he was trying to portray with it, if anything. I hate sounding like one of those pretentious art snobs, but I think it's definitely worth a rewatch if only to figure it out a little bit more. |

| Really not sure what this movie was trying to portray but my mind is buzzing ._. If I were was to guess though, maybe the creator of this movie was trying to portray how insignificant the character drinking tea is to relation to the outside world. This one really done my head in. |

| Oh dear, look at the rating. So many people who can't appreciate something that actually is a work of art for once and not the same old consumable crap that's being pushed out every season. I almost doubt it even belongs on MAL. Saeba_D_Guyver said: Reminded me of old Disney and Tex Avery shorts, where the music is the journey and the animation is kind of along for the ride. I felt exactly the same! And the music was really nice too. It got a bit atonal too at the end, reminds me of Schönberg. Also I'm really interested in what the point was. Maybe it's trying to tell us to treasure our time more? This has been made by university students so it could be anything. |
| Watching this made me aware of how many ten of thousands frames did the animation staffs drew for a minute of anime, let alone a full 24 minutes episode. As for the movie itself, it strains my eyes watching it. |

Agreed. It was interesting and a bit disturbing at times. Honestly, I wouldn't know how to rate it. It's difficult and a bit pointless, to put a numerical value on something like this. |

| In contrast to the previous comments above, I liked watching this movie. While it wasn't really eye-opening or magnificent, I liked how it was able to put me in a hypnotic state and how it was able to absorb me into its delirious world. Creepy good how the animator uses something mundane as drinking tea into something spontaneous. |

| For some reason I had to stifle a laugh (it's 2am) when she put the cup down at the end. It was like the character was just as done with whatever had just happened as the audience was. |

| I personally loved this. It's art so it is subject to interpretation. The impression that I received was that with each sip his mind awakened. Its morning, he's drinking coffee, he's trying to get motivated and wake up. I think the animation was showing his mind "coming alive." The mundane became colorful and bright. Thoughts and ideas are being tossed around in his head. It's time to start the day, everything is flowing and fully operational now. I loved the music with this. I also loved the use of color. |
