| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They gets the photography girl to involve by taking photo together. Wow, nice b-day cake. Then singing Mountain song together. Photo sharing. Different scenes, huh. Next day and continue with mountain climbing for 5 of them together. Sunrise as promised. Then memorable photo with sunrise. It sounds like a final ep. with no OP song but it ends with "continued..." and ED airing after the CM. |

| So their promise has been fulfilled. I watched the sunrise over the mountains for the first time in my life back in September (it comes from having a family who tend to be very late risers when on holiday that I hadn't before - it's difficult to get them out the house before 10 o' clock). It takes a surprisingly long time for the sun to actually come up after it gets light, but when it actually happens it is surprisingly fast. It's a beautiful time of day, that - so long as the weather behaves itself. Then again early morning doesn't get much rain either. The time around sunrise has always been one of my favourites, but when you watch the sun climb up above the mountains and ridges it really is something special. Especially if its just you and the grouse taking in the scene... They were hoping the mist would clear, but so long as you're above the mist rather than actually in it by the time the sun comes up, it actually makes the scene more effective than it would be on a completely clear morning. Less cold, too. |

| Hinata making fun of how Aoi got altitude sickness at Mt. Fuji was hilarious! "Wa-Watashi wa ii kara, minna saki ni itte." *Gaku* XD Nice seeing everyone wishing Kokona a happy birthday and celebrating with the cake Aoi made. Decent surprise. Loved Honoka's take on how fulfilling something doesn't end it, but rather it will continue forever. She's probably just as intelligent as Kaede. Sunrise scene was beautiful! That photo they took together was nice too. :3 Good episode. Damn, can't believe this is ending next week.. Need more YnS! I guess we still have the specials remaining. |

| Kokona's birthday celebrating during dinner! It was really cute seeing Aoi and Hinata with their worries really popping out when the promised event is just about to come. Honoka :3 Saying how it doesn't end it is much better than me staying it ends but that just means that it is a new beginning. The sunset and the scenery around the mountain was really nice! Aoi and Hinata holding hands as they watch the sunrise! Aoi confirming that the promises continues forever!~ The Tamayura vibe from seeing the photos! |

| I loved how well this episode fitted with that first scene from season 1 which is also a gem. It made me want to start watching Season 1 all over again! Perfect episode from start to finish! |

| Last episode next week :(((( This was such a good episode! I would of been content with it ending right there. I vote to keep the susume train rolling to season 3 but wait and see on that one. |
| They see the sunrise together, hold hands, and promise each other to return again someday. Kokona's birthday as well. The show deserves a season 3, explore more mountains. How about the group go to America to climb Mt. Mckinley, or go on an adventure to climb other mountains in Japan. Anything to keep the show going. |

| The calm before the..well, calm ascent up to the peak was really soothing and relaxing. I loved the steady sounds of the wind and rain drumming on the cabin in the quiet night. Honoka offered some great insight on both photography as well as life, how there's no "end game" goal and that when one dream is accomplished, a new one can be realized. It's hard to believe there's only one episode left. Similar to this episode's theme, I was hoping that this would just continue forever. |

| This felt a lot like the final episode, since it had a pretty strong sense of conclusion to it. But, I'm glad there is still one more episode left! Honoka never really got to do very much, maybe she will be more active in it? Lots of emotions as they watched the sun rise! |
| Ahh, that was beautiful, felt like an ending... I'll really miss this series, it's very relaxing to watch it and it always puts me into good mood. |

| What a lovely episode this was :3 I like Hinata's and Aoi's friendship so much, so this truly was a high point of the series for me. I hope to see more of these wonderful moments of them :) Kokona's birthday was a good idea to be held here. The debut of the new girl was also well placed here, and she seems like a nice person to join the group. |

| Aww Kokona-chan, Happy Birthday!!! Wow, it was such a great episode. I absolutely loved it! The birthday celebration was really sweet and the sunrise moment was beautiful as well. I'll repeat it but the relationship Aoi and Hinata have is so believable. I like how they tease each other and how much they worry about the other. Such a nice bond. |

| At least a second time we head this song.. I wonder, if this song exists outside this anime as well, and indeed is loved by people who climb.. Well, who knows.. Nice comparison by Honoka about the photo.. That she made photo she always dreamed of, always wanted to.. And didn't stop to take photos after that.. I think Honoka is quite thoughtful person, it seems.. ;P This episode honestly felt like it could for sure be the last episode.. I mean, with many flashbacks, overalls, thoughts about future, even photos of past events at the end.. Feels like an end, to be honest.. ;P |
