Yuuki getting a bit of Real Life there was sad and made me happy at the same time

Every time a parent cries about their children, I cry. It's inevitable.

This second half really slowed down its pace, scaling down its story to focus on Asuna and a number of characters specific to this arc. It doesn't feel like a story part of the main SAO plot, but rather a side story to explore the series' world a bit. It's pretty sappy and kind of heavy handed in its drama, but I'm actually impressed by how well it's conducting itself. I'm enjoying the slower moments, as they really take their time to get across what the characters are going through. Plus, I really like the idea of giving Yuuki the ability to attend school as she did, if just for a small while. The use of technology in this series has been focused a lot on gaming, but it's cool to see things like this. It really speaks a lot as to how SAO's future works, and I appreciate that bit of world building.

To be honest, I didn't expect this. I'm really glad it turned out this way with Asuna's mother.

Yuuki had a nice time at school, how sweet. Asuna did a good job pulling Talk no Jutsu on her mother.

So, this episode closed Asuna and her mom arc.

Very sweet and touching episode especially Yuuki going to the school and her old house.
