Weekly Young Jump No.3, which will be officially released next Thursday, December 18th, will announce that manga Himouto! Umaru-chan will receive an anime adaptation. More information will be announced at a later time.
Sarcasm aside, I will give it points for possibly having a girl as the main character? It's a step in the right direction at least.
Usually it changes from Umaru(the sister) POV to Taihei(the brother) or others characters POV.Is kinda 50-50.
`-` Also no romance...but both of them have some really messed up acquaintances some to the point of stalkers.
Having read the first three books of the manga (the fourth book will be on sale on Dec. 19), I think Himouto! Umaru-chan is rather another slice of life manga than a typical an imouto falling into her brother story, though Uamaru is really a girl of brother complex. There are few slapstick comedy parts and the others are chiefly telling the characters' everyday life with relaxed atmosphere.
I'm wondering if the anime is in 3-5 min. short format or in 24 min. regular TV anime, but anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the show.
