More kakuhou means the ghoul has a high rc cells and that they can keep using their kagune without worrying about running out of rc cells or if the kagune breaks. About Kaneki, I remember reading somewhere that he had only 4 kakuhou. |

So he's unknowingly doing the exact thing to himself that he is trying to protect himself from, and he is clearly suffering, huh? Better throw some serious verbal abuse at him and beat him up, that will solve everything. The only thing Touka made Kaneki realise is that he was protecting everyone for his own sake rather than everyone else's because he was afraid of being alone, so she basically just called him selfish. | I was going to write a lot of stuff about Kuroiwa Takeomi and how he somewhat reminded me of Aomame from 1Q84 in the fact that both could be considered conventionally good-looking but would most likely lose all of their attractiveness as soon as they let any kind of emotion deform their traits. I was also gonna write about how much I love Cookie and the "carnivorous" vibe he gives off due to him expressing his emotions through his mouth, or the clever way in which his inner thoughts complete and/or overlap his actual lines of dialogue. But somehow, all that went straight out the window when I saw Touka's face on the last page. I mean, holy shit. All hail dat art improvement. |
