At first, I thought one of Dark Kingdom's top underling is imposing as Mamoru. But then I realized it's probably him actually, just that he's being controlled by Queen Beryl.
It took Luna to go against the fake Mamoru and get injured badly before Usagi regained her resolve to fight. Not that I blame her, since she must be having a difficult time facing someone she loves, even though he's only an imposter.
Decent episode. The only part I didn't like is that, all the other Sailor Guardians got owned a bit too easily. Fake Mamoru is that OP?

Luna took one for the team all because Usagi was having conflicting thoughts over Tuxedo Mask.
Tuxedo Mask returns to Earth but he doesn't appear to be himself. Luna notices he is acting different than usual.
Wonder where Artemis is.
Kind of annoyed me how easily Tuxedo Mask and the other guy beat the girls. I expected more of a fight, but it turned out one sided. Jupiter got knocked out by Mars since she was brainwashed. Hopefully next episode isn't a one sided battle.

Finally! Feels like forever since a new episode came out.
The Art faltered a bit this episode, but the transformation scenes looked really good. Mamo-chan got the Silver Crystal which is now in Queen Beryl's hands, this can't be good at all. Now we have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens next. :/

Decent episode. The extended transformations are hopefully going to be done with soon. We got a few instant transforms a few episodes back, so I'm hoping we'll revert to that now that we've seen Venus' full transformation.
Plot wise it was okay. Kind of boring but that may be because I knew what was coming. (Though to be fair I pretty much always know what's coming, as I'm sure many here do as well.) But somehow this week it seemed more bland than usual. I am glad to see that egregious animation errors have mostly gone by the wayside.
Mind controlled Mamoru is OP. I know that the Senshi are still mostly new to this and not that strong yet, but this isn't Venus' first rodeo. (And for that matter, where was Artemis?) Also they've had most of their memories unlocked after the trip to the moon. They should be stronger. The only reasonable explanations are either that the magic from Beryl* has made him super OP or that the girls are weaker because they don't want to hurt him. But #2 doesn't make sense because they thought he was a fake -- not that he'd been mind controlled. I don't know, but the fight was very unimpressive.
Luna was whiny. Way too whiny. I'm your partner, Usagi. Don't you love me, Usagi? I understand, you really love him, Usagi. Therefore I'll put myself into harms way so you'll realize that you care about me too. It's almost kind of abusive in a way. And it misses the points that love is not a finite commodity and there are many kinds of love. I don't really think that Luna is aiming to be Usagi's lover. I mean, come on. But she's apparently starved for attention or something.
I mean, I can understand the idea that it would be good to remind Usagi that there are more people (and cats) in her life than just Mamoru considering the circumstances. That makes sense. But why is Luna suddenly (jealously) comparing herself to Mamoru? It's just weird. Like yes, Luna, you're her partner and her babysitter and her friend. But the man she's loved forever is in the hands of the enemy and being manipulated and possibly tortured (as far as she knows). She's drowning in a sea of memories triggered from the Moon Palace. Where, if you recall, she committed suicide in a previous life after her lover was murdered in front of her while defending her. Cut her some slack, damn it. Stop making it all about you.
"You know the old saying; when life gives you lemons, go murder a clown."
"Our opponent is an alien starship packed with atomic bombs," I said. "We have a protractor."
"Okay, I'll go home and see if I can scrounge up a ruler and a piece of string."

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned that "Sugu moderu." note.
I though Usagi had problem only with Kanji, not Hiragana.
I know she's supposed to be an airhead but that's a bit too much! Haha. Maybe they did it in hiragana so young kids watching the show would notice it?
