I can already feel the tragedy in these series. The prologue was quite depressing, hopefully Glen will meet up with Mahiru once again. 10 years have passed, so let's see how much he has changed.

After watching the anime which got me reading the manga, the LN (or what's translated of it so far) has provided some interesting background on Owari no Seraph and many of its characters, especially those in Guren's squad and the Hiragis. Definitely made me respect Guren much more and has solidified his character as powerful and intelligent. Unfortunately, I can't find any English translations past Volume 1. Guess I'll have to patiently wait for the official licensed translation of Volumes 1&2 coming out in January of next year.

I usually don't read light novels since I don't like the way that Japanese write/narrate novels but god, this one was good.

I can't wait to read the next one. I learned so much about the characters and Guren, that boy, I feel like I understand more of him and his intentions in the manga.

I waited for the third omnibus to be released and got everything just finished vol 1.

Wasnt expecting to see the plot moving so fast, but I m loving it, Mahiru just betrayed the Hiragi clan and got in "bed" with The Brotherhood of a Thousand Nights and that Saito guy, nice to see him since he play a big role in later Owari no Seraph manga chapters.
