| I also finished a few different parts of the .hack universe in the past few days: .Hack//Sign - A series with a lot of really neat ideas that didn't turn out so great, mainly because it was boring quite a bit of the time. 7/10, not bad but still disappointing. .Hack//Intermezzo - Unremarkable but a nice watch nonetheless. I liked how it connected to Sign. 7/10. .Hack//Unison - Again, unremarkable. Still, it's a cute conclusion to Sign. It made me smile. 7/10. .Hack//Gift - Pretty much stupid and pointless. 5/10. |

| Just finished School Days. I really don't know what to give it. I watched the show knowing the gist of the ending, but even so it still took me by surprise how it panned out. I thought it was really really good, and it seems to me like the majority of the people who hated it (judging by the reviews) completely missed the point and just wanted a traditional harem. A show having detestable characters doesn't make it bad, if anything it makes it more believable...that's not to say the show didn't have plenty of bits that was unnecessary or out there. Even so, I'd give it a 9.5 Much as I'd love to round it to a 10, I just don't know if I should. The show is definitely underrated. I can't even begin to imagine how I would reacted to the ending had I gone into the series blind. I guess I have an idiot on the psu forums to thank for this. But I won't thank him, because he is dumb. |

| I just finished watching Kemonozume this morning and I rather enjoyed myself, which I was rather pleasantly surprised about. The premise was rather interesting, it was like a warped pseudo West Side Story/Romeo and Juliet-esque love story, but what sold me was the music – I am rather partial to jazz so I reckon that I'm predisposed to liking the series and perhaps my grade of it is a tad biased because of it! =) In any case, I gave this series an eight! |

| I just finished watching Gankutsuou and it was mind-blowingly awesome! It is loosely based on the Dumas' novel The Count of Monte Cristo and to a point it is rather surprisingly faithful to the novel. Of course there are some liberties taken Dumas' novel takes place during the nineteenth century (1800s) and the anime series takes place during the mid-fifty-first (5053) and the novel focused more on the Count, while the anime series focused more on Albert and his friends and interactions, which gave the Count a far more antagonising figure than the sympathetic one portrayed in the novel. There were also plot changes include supernatural elements, different fates for some characters, the disposal of several side-plots, and an altogether different ending. In the end, it gave the series a different tone than the novel and I gave this series a nine. |

| Just finished Darker than Black. It was really good storytelling and I liked the mix of characters. I also liked the ambiguity of the characters and the fact that the show didn't try to tell me who was "good" and "bad". It kept on looking like it was going to be excellent but never quite got there for me though... maybe if I bought into the ending a more? Overall, a solid enjoyable series. 8/10. |

| i just finished Strawberry Panic, i was sick of all of the shonen-ai/yaoi that i see (i didn't watch them, but see around) so i found myself a yuri/shojo-ai anime, and watched it. it was a decent anime, not the greatest i've ever seen, but if you like girl-girl action that isn't hentai, i guess this is pretty good, although the whole show was so predictable. |

| Just finished Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai. Kinda of disappointed me. It's not bad but compared to the first season it's trash.There's more advanture than action in the anime and it could have more bloody scenes. Well, i gave it a 7/10. |

| Just finished watching Air, the alternative film version: Air (movie) and the side story special Air in Summer. I rather enjoyed watching this series, it is rather reminiscent of Kanon (2006) and sola, but in its own way somewhat unique – a sad, heart-wrenching series that I came to enjoy watching. I gave the series and the side story special both eights and the alternative film version a seven. |

| Just finished watching Hajime no Ippo, the sequel film: Hajime no Ippo – Champion Road and the sequel OVA: Hajime no Ippo – Mashiba vs. Kimura this morning. I am in total awe of this series, it is a wonderful coming of age story of a man trying to find his way in the world with a lot of humour, drama and a smidge of romance – all in all, it's a wonderful story. I gave the series a ten, the sequel film a nine, and the sequel OVA an eight. |
