| Whoever said mental maturity gets my vote though. I know people do the "half your age plus 7" rule but for me that would currently put them under age. Age gap doesn't seem to matter as much when you're older. My mother is 6 years older than my father and that's fine, but if I were to date someone 6 years my junior they would just barely be getting into highschool. Whether or not I think that's messed up to me, socially that's a no no. If I were to do what my great uncle did... I'd be dating a girl who isn't quite in her teens. ...I'm 21. For them acceptable. For me prison. |
