Saber vs Assassin
Archer vs Caster

That was some great fighting scenes. Liked how the way Archer shot his Caladbolg!!!

Archer and Shirou with their interactions ^^

The dream that Rin had with Archer in it >.<

Shirou injured by Archer, Assassin protecting them from Archer, the animation when they are trading blows...

Finding the resolve to fight in a battle! *Trace on!!!*

Amazing episode.
Dat Archer, Dat Sasaki!
However I have one complaint - OST is seriously mediocre. Especially during the fight with Caster, I felt the lack of some epic music.

B-baka!, I am the bone of my sword, Tsubame Gaeshi, drown in your ideals, and even some Archer vs Assassin. I'm so glad this is the Saturday that I had off so I don't have to wait to see the episode. It was just so beautiful ;^;

Assassin is bad ass.

Great episode. The conversation between Archer, Shirou, and Caster was great. Archer and his ideals vs Shirou and his was also good. To me it seems like they want to the same result but going different ways about it. Assassin vs Saber was dope. Dat move by Assassin was so crazy. Then the last fight had to be the best. Man I can't wait for the next episode.

5/5.

The Archer and Shirou scene was the best moment of this episode. Really set up their 'relationship'.

Animation and Visuals make a big difference. It definitely wasnt that awesome in my head.

I wonder how much the staff has looked into the side material since they added the overcoat after the change. It was a nice touch.

I'm not sure if you know, but it seems like Caster's memories from last episode was actually hinted at in the VN much later.

Seeing how they manage to adapt those mere two lines - which can be easily forgotten - into the Anime, I'm pretty sure they know their source materials pretty much. It wouldn't be surprising if the staff played F/SN thoroughly and researched the side materials as well. Heck, I would bet that they even played through F/HA for the heck of it.

Great episode - as expected.

Love the clashes of different agendas. Anyone who now says this isn't as engaging as F/Z is on crack.

In my case is exactly the opposite. I'm feeling sleepy when I hear the current one.
I really liked Archer ost though.

Everything is perfect so far with this adaptation. The plot, the battles, the animation, the music... I can't see anything that might go wrong with this series.

I think I cried. You know, not one tear, but a whole stream of tears.
One line from Archer was enough for me to start crying.
I haven't felt this much joy in years.

I don't even want to think about what's going to happen later.

Also, this is why I should avoid commenting on FSN. I am too biased.
10/10, more please.

Wouhou, I was really hyped for Ufotable to animate this fight, which was always interesting in the VN, especially the one between Saber and Assassin, who doesn't look at all like an assassin. Ya' know, assassin tend to stab in the back, not run in front of the enemy. But when you are stronger in swordskill than Saber, I think you can take the initiative.

Anyway, the fight between Archer and Caster was magestic, and the relationship between Shirou and Archer was fabulous. Two tsundere together can only produce a symphony of ''Baka! Baka!''. And a stab in the back. The yaoi doujin are coming...

The animation was superb, as always. I just can't understand how they can do such beautiful animation for a TV show. I mean, shit man, they must be burning money faster than a whore...

This episode lacked of Rin... Well, I knew that it would lack of Rin, she wasn't present either in the VN, and it's good that way, because that episode was more to see an other personality of Archer, a one more pragmatic and bitter. It was also to bring up Shirou resolution to learn the sword art.

The amount of bullshit dialogue is amazing... Why there is always the question: Why don't you finish me/him/w/e x ?
I don't understand why Shirou doesn't just die, the damn lamps would make a better main character.
Another 1/5.

They actually seem to be avoiding reusing OST's from the VN, remixes or otherwise. Which is a bit of shame, some of them were truly great.
I'm 99.99% certain we'll get That one though.

The real assassins are zerofags. They are killing the fanbase.
As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

Very good fight but they skipped some informational details like Archer calling Caster's attack a bunch of A rank spells in succession and, also Shirou admiring his twin swords, which is probably one of the most important scenes for his character.

The more I look more Archer looks like mini Kiritsugu. If that continues I will come to like him as character. Although I read VN and still hate that stupid Shiroe attitude.

The sword admiration was shown in post credits scene when Saber and SHirou discuss that fight.
The caster spells are covered nicely by Archer mentioning true magic.

I knew from the beginning that Ufotable wouldn't re-use many of the original OSTs. They are a studio that takes pride in adapting a show, and making it their own. So if they want a soundtrack, they create a new one just for the show.

Uuuuuh.
Well, tbf, the original Zero didn't have a soundtrack, being an LN, while F/SN does....so.....hold out hope?

By making him not take "murder and suffering of hundreds of citizens" as something that is okay?

I thought his reaction was fitting and understandable.
