| Makes sense. Because in order to adapt a full 24 episode season, there should be a bit more manga chapters released. The way it's currently happening in the manga now, I'd say about 17-18 episodes could be covered. There's been way too much talking in the manga in the past year or so. Only some random action chapters. |

| I'm actually kind of glad they are going to take their time with Season 2. Being a monthly series, it's only natural that it would take more time than usual for the second season to air. Also, this means that SnK will stay true to its source material, unlike series like Akame ga Kill which is going to have an anime original ending. |

| Wow. From some of the comments you'd think it was the only anime to ever have a long delay between seasons... Personally, I'm not too bothered with it being pushed back to a 2016 release date. It'll (hopefully) mean we'll have the same -- if not better -- quality animation that we had in s1, and it means that things won't be rushed too fast or forced to fit into ex amount of episodes. Not to mention, with the OVA's being released and the ongoing story of the manga, it's not like there's going to be nothing out there until the wait is over. It took me ages to finally watch and get involved with the series, and now I am more than content to wait and continue enjoying it until a second season is released to us. |
