| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Q-Feuille's eyes when she saw the glowing red lights was just unexpected^^ I thought she was the brave one and it's funny to see her screaming like that, all the sudden the atmosphere becomes horror style :D Ascoeur's speed is amazing when she's fighting the opponent, i guess Dia has a special ability after all :D |

| I agree with ShanaFlame about Q-Feuille being not as brave as it looked. She was afraid of ghosts and spirits by the looks of her face. I have to admit that Dia is adorable but the problem is her constant kissing to power up it is cute but reminds me of what they call yuri/lesbo stuff. Not in a bad way but cute just gets a little annoying because it does not fit in the Kiddy Grade setup that this was supposed to be like. GOTT/GTO...why was it abandoned or what happened is not clear to me also. The fight was great with fast teleportation of Ascoeur/bomb setup;blow up of Q-feuille so was monster that is genetic/maybe nanomachine transformed into other things. Fear effect worked on me a few times in the beginning of the episode but will probably not a second time seeing this. A bit sad to see some ES members that died got some memories of first season, also the hall and some parts of the building. For a minute here Granth said: I must commend them for throwing us some nostalgia with the scene in the lobby and the whole chamber with the former ES members. Yet for some reason I'm going to bet that they're not completely out of the picture though, as I found the text on those frames rather cryptic. But that could just be my lingering hope talking. Yeah, it brought so many memories back from the first season. I hope many of those ES members come back somehow. There is something that I wonder about......cloning. |

| It might be me, but the character art looked funky this ep. The backgrounds were nice and detailed though.. Oh how I miss the GOTT. This was the best ep so far, almost feels like a sequel, too bad it's not. Next ep we might have some srsbzns though |

| The reason it looked different is that a lot of the work this episode was handled by one person, Naoto Hosoda (he storyboarded, directed, supervised and did some of the keyframing hmself). Every other episode has split this work up among at least three people. He worked on the original Kiddy Grade and also did this magazine illustration: http://moe.imouto.org/post/show/68880 |

| I checked the credits for the Pilot DVD and he was one of the 16 key animators who worked on it. |

| How come this isn't getting any better? Come on. Oh, and shouldn't Mercredi and Armbrust be there too? I've watched Kiddy Grade some time ago so I might be missing something, but they're also ES Members and if Alv and Dvergr are there... |

| He was an ES-member but not a GOTT ES-Member so would not appear on their wall of fame. |

| a much better episode a good chunk is more Q-fieulle focused with her goofy ass faces nice to see portaraits of Eclair and Lumiere along with the other ES members in that dark hall |
