So Hiyori, Lisa, Hachigen and Rabu did not join back to Squads huh. WAIT!!!! O.O YORUICHI HAS A SISTER (or is that a Boy?)!!!! WHEN THE F**K THAT HAPPENED!!! well we can at least officially say that Yhwach is pretty much fearless Bad Ass if anything...Half of his Battle Strength gone and he is still going for it...He is somewhat same as Ichigo and Kenpatchi...you just can't kill him and he just won't stay down. |

| I love how well monk's power fits. Names have a lot of power in bleach - attacks are triggered by calling their names, swords have names, objects named become fullbrings etc. And Ichibei is the one who "named all the stuff in SS". So Obviusly his power would have something to do with names. Really intrigued with Urahara and what is going on with him. |

Chapter 508 it was the light of god ability. Other than that I think Juha might be going complete holy form. |
| Early chapter wut? I'm still reserving judgement on just what Yuushirou's gender really is, but from my limited understanding of Japanese, the 'rou' suffix seems like a strictly male one, and considering various males in Bleach have it slapped on to the end of their names (Toushirou, Juushirou, Roujuurou, Hanatarou, Shuukurou,) I feel more comfortable perceiving him as one. The 'yuu' preceding it is quite feminine though, so who even knows. Perhaps Kubo is just intentionally painting the picture of an androgynous noble boy/girl...  This chapter was some quality shit tho. Old faces reappearing, one of the 4 noble houses entering the fray (and it's the Shihouin to boot!), Urahara continuing to be shady as always, and best of all the fight between Oshou and Yhwach. This has really got to be one of the most even and balanced fights in the history of this manga. Despite being pretty much the God of the Quincy, Yhwach lacks the air of invincibility that surrounded Aizen and made him that one-shot troll, he's actually putting genuine effort into his attacks and still getting knocked about. Maybe it's because Ichibei is the "Head of Shinigami" and thus an opponent that can deliver real damage if he so desires, but I'm still enjoying this fight way too much. It's a refreshing turn of events, compared to the usual one-sided curbstomps that happen. 10/10. Tremendously looking forward to what happens next week, as well as the color page! |

| Obscure developments on Urahara's end, as per the norm, but all in all not too bad. Cameo for the Visored! Which is nice. I think, given that Ichibei's defeat is all but a foregone conclusion, it's not strictly necessary that that duel be drawn out. On the other hand, from a lore perspective, I would like the duelists to drop some more juicy hints about the origins of Soul Society and ye olde ancient times. Money's on Yuushirou being a chap, rather than not. :3 |
| So what are the chances Hiyori gets chopped in 2 again or the rest of the Vizards pull a Shinji? Ywach vs Ichibei has been the best Bleach fight in a long time, its refreshing not seeing another back to back stomp match. |
