| Even for a prologue, this was actually pretty damn good. Hope this adaptation does the VN justice because I'm feeling reluctant to read it (maybe till the anime's hiatus). | Holy crap, that was plain EPIC. The art was superb, the opening (ending for this week) and backgroud music are great, the characters are better than ever, and that fight scene between Archer and Lancer was fantastic. I can't wait for next week! |

| Well, my comments before were prior to watching it, and I didn't get spoiled by anything, thankfully. That whole episode felt like a movie. Pretty incredible, especially the fight scene. I don't usually get hyped, but this might be an exception now. |

| Dang so many priests here lol. I was wondering why I kept seeing all these priests in usernames and Kotomine for avatars and then I realized there must a club...got me all confused guys. Exciting first episode, the fight scene was intense, as well as the camerawork when Rin was summoning Archer. Except for watching F/Z anime, I'm not familiar with this series at all, but now I'm looking forward to watching this even more. |

| A few complaints: Rin's design... The slice-of-life parts could have been a bit shorter, and they weren't very engaging. Rin's design... The animation isn't amazing. Honestly, if you cut out the special effects from the fight scene, the action isn't very fluid. The worst scene was Rin's jump from the rooftop, which looked very weird. Rin's design... The second part of the episode was still orgasmic, Archer and Rin have chemistry, and the cleaning scene was hilarious. |

| ufotable delivering above and beyond my expectations (not that it should be that surprising). The only scene I'm nitpicking on is when Rin loses her cool and uses up a command seal. Archer's reaction was a bit lackluster compared to in the VN, though it's probably just me. Can't wait to see what else is in store for me, since the adaptation is unbelievably faithful to the source material so far. |
