| So Heroic Spirits need their 'shell' to be able to remember their past. Rin didn't have Archer's shell. His name wasn't even mentioned in DEEN. There's really something between Archer and Shirou but this was unexpected that Archer even come to help Shirou without being ordered. This adaptation shows their relationship more. |

| The pacing is really good imo and we finally get to see Assasin and Caster. Caster is behind the Coma attacks for mana but I wonder who their masters are. Also Shinji that asshat. |

| I kinda had a feeling Shinji was going to be special but I think it was a pretty good reveal. That and I liked the cliffhanger towards the end. The next episode should be really interesting |

| Poor Shirou man, dude can't go five seconds without getting called a weakling. At least he kind of got a compliment from Rin this episode. But yet again of course he has found himself in peril and could've been killed at any time with string tied tightly around his neck. Thankfully Caster didn't have the intention of killing Shirou immediately, since she wanted his command spells (so I guess that always was a thing, being able to take another master's command spell, and thus being able to command their servant? Because Caster quite explicitly states that she was going to then use Saber to take care of Berserker- so in theory I guess you could capture all 6 other masters and take their command spells and be in control of all 7 servants??), so that gives time for Archer to come in and save the day. I have no idea how he got through the barrier though when we see that it repels heroic spirits, as Saber realizes. It's probably just written into the script as "main character Shirou can't die yet, so have heroic spirit go through heroic spirit-repelling shield, just because". Bruh if you have the gall to write bs like that then just have there be no barrier at all, or better yet don't have Shirou kidnapped in the first place. But oh, we gotta have some fights, so this is how it's gonna be! Hahaha! Oh yeah Saber apparently was able to get through the barrier somehow too, because we see quite clearly running up the steps to the temple and facing down Assassin. But hey, not worth sweating the small details, right? Especially when we're bound to be treated by more spectacular fights in the next episode. |

| Oh wowzer it's mfin shinji being annoying, glad to not be glad to see him again like this. But on the other hand Caster do be looking pretty asf and the saber vs assassin fight i'm waiting for is abt to be here. |
