Shinji makes for a deliciously hateable antagonist. And Atsuko Tanaka just has one of those voices that shines through no matter what role she plays. Love her as Caster.

Great episode! That whole dream sequence when Shirou was taken to the temple was unexpected. I've completely forgotten about that part from the VN. Then again, it's been quite some time since I last read the VN.

There is something that's bothering me though...why was Archer able to get into the temple when Saber couldn't?

Ahhh, yeah, I almost forgot that Caster was pretty hysterical. She also seem to be into bondage... Damnit, Shirou! Are you already cheating on Rin and Saber with that chick you just encountered?! Pretty hyped to see her fighting Archer.

The Food/stay night took a new turn in the fruit industry, showing a wild tiger eating oranges. And he also have is cute kouhai waiting for him... The lucky bastard.

Mitsuzuri doesn't look in her best state. Was she raped or..? Errr, I hope not. From Shinji allusion, I feel she was drained of her magical energy, similar to that girl who was attacked in the last episode.

Saber really seem excited about beating the crap out of Shirou. Shirou is also having a bit of problems around Saber. Ya' know, young boys and their hormones.

Rin and Shirou are putting their alliance at work, removing the magic marks. It also like even if Shirou is having problems dealing with Saber, Rin also have a bit of difficulties to hide her tsundereness.

Also, look at this. Fucking. Face. Seriously, if Shinji isn't the incarnation of the punchable face...

Caster finally appearing. Now, we saw the full set of servant : Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider (I think that by elimination, you can guess who it is), Caster, Berserker and Assassin. Now, shit will get real. Look at that face, it's the face of someone getting it in the butt for the first time. Buthahaha luckily, Archer was there to save the day. I think it will be a fair fight because of their class are good at distance and possibly dodging.

Assassin have a nice samurai style, even if samurai aren't assassin as far as I know.

Very nice, exactly what I was expecting. I'm enjoying a lot this big focus on magic and worldbuilding. Also, the pace is pretty good.

Back on topic, like I said earlier the hypnosis scene was the best. I wonder just how much extra content they'll be adding in for Caster.

They seem to be adding only to make up for the lack of the Fate route, so I don't know how much new content for Caster that will make for.

Caster didn't really have anything you could call "content" in Fate. If they add anything for Team Caster, they could use the FHA stuff. 24-26 episodes should be enough time for this.

I'm more curious to know what they'll do with Kotomine later on.

I guess Saber suits perfectly fine with Shirou. They match even in personality traits, and probably they're the only good ones (in a naive way).

How convenient, that the main protagonists just so happen to be the only Masters/Servants in the Holy Grail war who aren't complete and utter evil psychopaths.

When is this going to be different from the other Fate/Stay Night.

I don't really like the inclusion of rape as a means to show how evil a character is while it doesn't focus on the consequences to the victim itself or doesn't show how concerned other people would be for her, even only with an implication of rape. Shirou pretty much just shrugged it off after all the rumours that Shinji was spreading.

You didnt even see enough Masters,and just see glimpses of some Servants...What makes you so confident that you are saying they are all evil psychopaths.

Of which protagonists you're talking about? Because I believe that someone that is not even interested in the Holy Grail (Rin and Archer), but apparently fight just for fighting, winning and fulfill the duty, are much more psychopaths than everyone else haha.

Honestly shirou's character is a deconstruction of the classic I want to save everybody archetype.

I think Saeedpoppa is basically saying: "Wow, what are the odds that the protagonists (Shirou and Rin) are the only ones not insane in the grail war."

While Kolnikov is basically saying: "Well, both Rin and Shirou are in this war for no real reason besides wanting to win and fulfill a duty - that sounds pretty insane."

But Shirou wants to save everybody, so he has a reason to fight. And Saber well... Can't spoiler. But Rin isn't what I would call ''good''.
