As I would assume through your list that your definition of mind blowing anime is Death Note, Code Geass, and Steins;Gate, I have to break it to you and say that those type of anime don't come around too often. In terms of "mind-blowing" I would say those anime are at the top of the list with few competitors, but if you want some anime still reaching to achieve the top as well, here are a couple.
-Durarara!
-JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) (sort of)
-Kamisama no Memochou (might be the closest that you are looking for)
