Lets see if Nardo surpasses the million mark, the Kaguya fight was one of the fights Ive seen in a manga.

NNT continuing to sell well, I hope they replace FT as WSM number 1 series.

Those Nanatsu no Taizai sales again, thoroughly deserved, fab series. Great to see Shokugeki no Souma, Kangoku Gakuen, Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun and Kingdom up there as well.

*3. 180,085 180,085 Toriko Vol.32

Not even the Horse King Heracles can boost Toriko's sales. Toei's disgusting anime butchering has done serious harm to this series. Could have been HxH level sales if done right.

*3. *9,608 **9,608 Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon: Girls Talk - Ookami to Tamashii

A spin-off? Decent first week sales.

So Nanatsu no Taizai has sold over 2 million volumes now after the anime debut? Wow. Boku no Hero Academia also on the top 10 this week.

And seeing those sales about Horimiya, I can't wonder but ask myself: "anime adaptation when?"

1. 590,855 626,418 Naruto Vol.71

*2. 590,750 619,243 Naruto Vol.70

Sales pretty much similar to last volume so I doubt it'll pass the million mark so soon.

24. *33,432 566,961 Tokyo Ghoul Vol.14

Still staying strong.

Well Arima is pretty much the Levi Ackerman of Tokyo Ghoul, of course he was one of the reason Volume 14 is still selling well.

Interesting to see also NNT growth has been similar to TG. TG had this kind of sales after 6 episodes of the anime aired.

Well then he did a better job than levi because in all TG he had like 10 lines lmao.

Levi was the main reason the Volumes featuring the boring Human Arc have done over 1.7 million.

Once Arima appears in the anime he will become as popular as Levi.

Levi: Humanitys strongest soldier.

Arima: CCG strongest human.

^ Spoiler alert! Levi last name. O: Anime viewers don't know it yet. actually the volume 13 and 14 sold over 2 million, because of the limited edition.

@2k4 I bet it will be another Toriko, just hype without anything showing to back it up.

A lot of missing light novels this week. I don't understand how when Oricon made it so much easier with a Top 20 light novel list...

It's the 3rd best volume 1 sales for a Shonen Jump series since 2008 so it's definitely off to a good start but where it goes from here remains to be seen. Calling it "the next Naruto" is probably a bit of a jump when it's still so new but it could get lucky and manage to grab a bunch of Naruto's fans now that it's over.

A spin-off? Decent first week sales.

Not a spin-off, but a side story, with characters discussing what happened to Mitotsudaira three years ago.

BTW, I think the release day was the 7, so really decent sales for 3 days of a side story volume like this. While there wasn't a huge competition among the release this week, managing to beat all the other dengeki bunko release from this month is pretty nice.

Shut up please :(
It's the 1st volume of a popular new series but the author's previous works haven't sold well so they were carefull with the amount of volumes printed but according to the twitter for the series, it sold out and got another reprint and the next naruto? maybe, depending how well it sells outside of Japan since it has an american superhero feel to it it may sell alot.

Sasuga Naruto. Magi seems to be doing well too. Yes for Kangoku Gakuen. I didn't expect the manga to be that popular.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Remember the name Boku no Hero Academia then, because apparently the first volume was sold out everywhere so the series is already much more popular than those sales numbers suggest. Nearly top the Jump rankings recently too (came out #2 behind One Piece). Actually just start reading it, because it's pretty good.

I don't understand why Japan continues to reward A-1's utter mediocrity one way or another be it directly or indirectly but oh well I guess. Pretty much typical at this point.

and Nanatsu no Taizai domination is still expected

Why is it related to A-1? A-1 is certainly animating it, but I don't see a problem if people gets interested after watching the anime. If you want to how people reward the adaptation, just see the anime sales number which is kinda mediocre so far.

For some bizarre reason MAL has never included that series on the weekly rankings. It's one of the only series targetted at a female audience that reliably shows up on the rankings as well...
Weekly light novel releases (from 20/10/2014)
Monthly light novel sales ranks (from Jan 2015)
Bestselling light novel volumes of the year/all time* (and more in the same club).

WOOT! I was worried that this didn't sell well when I didn't see this last week. Impressive sales too, from what I remember the first two books in the series didn't sell as much as this one during their first weeks out (then again the boost might also be due to the upcoming chara album)

WOOT! I was worried that this didn't sell well when I didn't see this last week. Impressive sales too, from what I remember the first two books in the series didn't sell as much as this one during their first weeks out (then again the boost might also be due to the upcoming chara album)

Here is the data for the previous book... that one was on sale for one less day, but it is better to compare sales after 2 weeks (to make it more even). So clearly this new book has had a boost compared to the previous book, and it appeared back into the rankings as well at almost 94K sales.
Bunko
*7 24 **2 *14,530 *24,732 14/05/31 ***9 Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu Yakimochi no Kotae (告白予行練習 ヤキモチの答え)
24 ** **1 *10,202 *10,202 14/05/31 ***2 Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu Yakimochi no Kotae (告白予行練習 ヤキモチの答え)

Light Novels
19 ** *** **3,520 *93,713 14/05/31 *163 Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu Yakimochi no Kotoe (告白予行練習 ヤキモチの答え)

The 1st book... Again Hatsukoi no Ehon is well ahead after 2 weeks compared to this book as well.

Nice! I'm so glad this series sells well. :) Mind if I know your source?

Also, what's the difference between Bunko and Light Novel?
