| Hello! My name is Beru. My username means Countess. Year ago I set a goal for myself. Read all yaoi in the world. So I am going trough every manga site looking for pieces that I havent read. It is hard because soon I will hit 1500 completed manga njahahahahaha (85-90% is yaoi). I have entered my 6th year in anime/manga world, and I am happy. BL is good addiction, not like smoking and drinking, so yaoi might have saved me. BL gives me that romance and hot actions that rarely are in shoujo manga. Sadly BL are only men that bring me joy. | Hiya! I'm little bit over 20 yrs girl (woman?) from Finland. o/ Still quite a newbie here (MyAnimeList), plus invited to join this group two months ago. I don't remember when I first read some BL (so I wasn't so impressed then?), but I was really hooked June 2014. I had heard about Junjou Romantica a couple of times before from some places, but never searched more info about it. But for some reason I now finally decided to check it out - and oh, hhhhappy I did! (⌒▽⌒)☆ After that month, I've read or started to read many other series too. Also watched some animes. But Jonjou Romantica has this special place in my heart forever. (∩_∩) So like many others, I'm reading bl's (yaoi!!) thanks to Shungiku Nakamura. (What I've noticed, at least.) I'm mostly using MyAnimeList to keep myself "up to date". I mean, mostly listing what I've already read/watched and so on, sometimes searching some information too. But I'm really inactive in forums here, so you wont see me here too often at all - sorry... This is actually my first post ever. |

| Hi! I'm 17 y.o. and I'm from Poland. I'm watching anime for 5 years. My adventure with anime and manga, later bl, started when I accidentally saw one episode of Death Note in TV. c: I knew what anime was, but I didn't watch it. I read my first manga in 2012, it was Doubt. I'm into bl also since 2012. I wanted to check what Sensitive Pornograph was. :') It was quite a shock, but a few weeks later I read my first bl manga, it was Kuroshitsuji doujinshi (I don't remember the title, sorry Q-Q). That's why I like yaoi. :D Today I'm even playing bl games. I played DRAMAtical Murder (Re:connect too, I'm waiting for English patch of Re:code, but... I want to play it only for Mizuki's route...), Togainu no chi and Sweet Pool. c: Nice to meet you all~! / I hope that my English isn't so bad... Q-Q / |

I love BL, my profile doesn't have half of the BL manga I've already read (I'm a little too lazy to put every single one of it on my list and rate it)! I've started liking BL manga after watching Sekaiichi Hatsukoi by chance (I had no idea it was BL before I started watching it but I loved it anyway)... After that I just kept on reading more and more BL manga! And now I'm a fanatic that can't live without my precious yaoi or shounen ai manga :D I think the first yaoi manga I read was "Kiken na Hokeni Counselor" from Minami Haruka and I really loved it, I think it's my favourite from this mangaka! I love Takarai Rihito, Yamamoto Kotetsuko, Takanaga Hinako, Junko, Kanda Neko, and many other authors that I don't remember the name now! Nice to meet you all! |

I've read fanfictions of different fandoms for years, and started to focus more and more towards BL-pairings Then, less than half a year ago I found the world of anime, and fell in love, but most yaoi animes have been more dissappointing than good. And when I finally realised the world of manga recently, I also realised that this is the form I enjoy my Boy Love the most! I haven't had time to read much yet, but I'm excited. |

| ^ It's not so surprising, I'm slowly but surely losing my nerves on the quality of the forums. Even anime and manga discussions seem to drown in trolling and stuff. And not the trolling itself, but the fact that there is no real conversation where you can actually interact with others, just listing and ignoring others. So it's great to found a slightly more intimate place with people that are more alike. :) I'm definitely going to inquire some recs soon, first I just read the few obvious ones I've set my eyes on. |

The way I found out about BL was because a friend of mine was always calling me Fujoshi (guess I can't hide it) so from then on I truely found a part of myself and I'm proud of that...
