Me Saber fan? Well yes, a little, but Rin is my favourite girl that's why I'm so angry with this. I'm doing something very wrong if I left the impression of being a big Saber fan.

Great episode. Shirou vs Rin was crazy. Why Rin got to be so mean to Shirou uh. Like how Shirou was ready to go at it though. I'm just going to make a wild guess and say Shinji is Rider's master. I wonder what happen to Ayako I hope she is all right. Rider and Shirou fight was nice, but quick. So it seems like we got a truce with Rin (I wouldn't trust her) and Shirou. Looks like Emiya chose to be a father to Shirou then a Mage to him. I wonder if this was the right choice? Anyway I can't wait for the next episode.

5/5 (no 6/5 cause the lack of Saber).

I always do that, post regularly complaining or praising and then dissapear for a while before comeback and post randomly here and there.

Now I'm nitpicking about math of the posts in this thread.

Shirou can be a good athlete if he wants to be; running from Rin's Gandr isn't easy at all. Tracing On to use the desk as a shield was pretty cool too!
Loved how he protected Rin and took the hit instead. That wound looked painful though! :O


I agree. Ufotable Rider is 5X times better than DEEN's, in terms of pretty much everything; from attacking patterns to character design.
The moment she said "Unlike my master, you possess courage" it was indeed obvious who her master is. XD

Shirou was pretty awesome to go against Rider, even though he didn't stand much of a chance.
Rin's blushing to Shirou's smooth talking was cute! :3. She just teamed up with him so she won't have to think about killing him anytime soon.

Great episode once again! looking forward to Assassin's debut next week.

Rin was also great. Liked how they handled her short fight.

Must be some nostalgia goggles, considering so far NOTHING like this happened in 2006 version. Hell, everything since Ep3-Ep4 was already completely different.

Like plot or interesting character interactions, some comedy would be nice too.

Good stuff, I think the only thing that really bummed me out was the short length of Shirou's confrontation with the servant. She was there and gone just like that. But, honestly, it's not that important except for showcasing Shirou's willingness to put himself in danger which was more than well enough displayed here. So, I'm not too bothered by it. The school chase was pretty cool, as was Shirou's flashback to his time with Kiritsugu.

I'm waiting for this anime to live up to the hype you priests give it. If it's half as good as you guys insist it is then it'll be worth it.

It's because Deen took the Rin vs Shirou, and Shirou vs Servant from UBW in the Deenbadnime.

Good episode. Nothing really noteworthy to say aside from the fact Rider is nicely animated and Emiya barely reacting when he was impaled.

Tohsaka is still going strong as best girl, all while having the most entertaining reactions by far

But even then they were not even remotely the same.

This is why I said the episode was a little rushed. But now that I think about it, if they added some monologues/etc.. and made it longer it could feel dragged out so maybe this was for the best.

Well, all of this actualy was in the DEEN version, if I remember correctly. At least the Rin and Rider fights.

I don't remember the older version very well but this looks quite different. So far I like this one better but I ll need to rewatch the other for a far comparison.

I remember Shirou/Saber started a lot weaker in the other one, or maybe it's because Berserker was OP...

For your own good, don't rewacht it. Or after this anime is done.

Maybe they want to show it in a flashback next episode or something? You never know.. Or maybe they'll change the whole reveal thing, since you know, they are already tweaking some moments.

Even that does not matter since apart from containing School, Rin and Shirou, it has absolutely no similarities
