| Wandaba Style is a criminally underrated comedy series. Not sure why the show is so badly rated, like without a doubt it had a dumb plot but it's a comedy so that's a good thing. Unlike so many other comedic Anime I've watched this show actually keeps up the standard of humor and doesn't get tired after a couple of episodes. And it does all this without relying to heavily or even at all really on reference humor which is nice. If I had a single criticism it would be the song the idols sing is cheesy, awful and not fun to listen to. Thankfully it's not used too much but yeah those parts I didn't enjoy. Overall I think of this show as abit of a hidden gem or something that deserves more credit than it gets. Maybe the negative reaction is abit of a hive mind type thing? Even if not I hope the average score of this series doesn't push too many people away from giving it a shot because I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by the show. |
