4/5

Episode that I really enjoyed, I like the story between the serious and the light-hearted, between the SOL and the rich context of action.
Plot that not contempt, while still not understanding where is direct, not a afan then I have not read anything about Gundam.
Beautiful designs and beautiful animation, CG excellent.
Also promoted the ending which, while not endorsing the fact of revealing future events, but is a certain charm in the way it reveals.
I can not wait to see the next episode!

So they went into space just to come back to the surface... So why not build a gundam out of that reflector stuff?...

That is true now that i think about it, didnt they go into space to do some decoy operation so some other mission to occupy the tower could occur?

was this just forgotten or?

The quality of transitions between scenes and dialog seems to plateaued even from earlier episodes. Messy. The art in the fight was spectacular but sequence had me just frequently saying "lolwut", esp. that transition from g-self deflecting laser shots to gunpoint killing Dellensen. Seriously, the studio need to make sure to rewatch each ep. themselves if each scenes makes sense to one another.

I feel bad for Bellri. RIP Dellenson

It was a good fight thought.

Now that was awesome, the battled coupled with the OST was fantastic.

But Bellri himself is pretty weird...hes OK with killing other soldiers of the Captial Army and feels nothing about it...Dellensen's death should have been done a little slowly I think, it was quick and left no impact to me..

Bellri looked like a girl when he got his hair tied up in this episode.

Possibly NSFW:

The story was dishevelled as ever, and Dellensen deserved a proper send-off, but damn the Reflector effects looked beautiful.

Oh shit, the first named character to bite the dust. Bellri really got it hard now, killing his teacher without even knowing he was in the Mobile Suit. Too bad he'll probably forget all about this in the next episode.

It was obvious Bellri's escape plan would backfire, but I didn't expect Dellensen to die yet.
I don't think he and Bellri recognized each other by how their machines moved, when the G-self rammed it's shield in the Elf Bull's torso it opened a communication channel. Their heard each other in that last moment.
It seems G-Self has some kind of self preservation system, as Bellri is not sure what happened. It's not the first time the unit does something on it's own.

I loved the Reflector Pack, purple is a beautiful color. And turning the enemy beams into energy for the suit is always a cool idea. Sadly as it is very broken I doubt it will see much action. The reflection cells breaking off so easily is probably to give an excuse for it not being used very frequently.

Second important death, Dellensen of the Capital Army and Bell Instructor!!!
I think that Bell is a little hypocrite for his tears when killed the instructor!!! If you have a gun in your hands in a middle of a brawl, the normal is use it, and exists the possibility of kill someone!

This has been pure Tomino all along, with the needless deaths and the 'if you weren't here I wouldn't have to kill you' stuff. But, with Bell's reaction at the end, and considering Aida's continued mourning of her Capt, the way the deaths are handled is interesting. Certainly not forgotten in an instant in the darkness of space.
