I can't say I'm a hardcore fan or anything, but yeah there music is great. If I had to pick a favorite song from them it would be.....Come Together, I guess.

I've been listening to The Beatles for over 15 years now. I consider myself a big fan, especially of their earlier stuff.

Some of my favorite Beatles songs are "I'll Get You," "Hold me Tight," "To Know Her is to Love Her," "Besame Mucho," "You Can't Do That," "When I Get Home," and many others.

They're ok, personally I consider their only good songs the ones when they turned to a classic rock tone instead of their romance songs.
I've been here way too long...

I love around 20-30 of their songs. Generally, I prefer covers of their songs, as opposed to them singing it.

Really? Because pretty much every time I hear a cover of one of their songs I find myself thinking "would have been better if The Beatles were actually singing it".

If the Revolver K-ON album cover on my profile didn't make it immediately obvious I absolutely love The Beatles. Got into them around 2009 when their albums got re-released and still love them. I love how they can experiment with so many genres and pull them off so well. Well, for the most part at least.

No offense to One Direction since I'm sure they're good guys and to be honest they probably get more hate than they deserve. But I cringe whenever the news calls them 'the successor to The Beatles' as if all you've got to do to get that title is be from England and play pop music in a boy band.

Strawberry Fields, Sgt Pepper, Tomorrow Never Knows, Blackbird, Nowhere Man, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Revolution, Helter Skelter, Let it Be, Hey Bulldog, Get Back, Something, Rain, She Said She Said, I'm Only Sleeping, If I listed of all my favourites I could be here forever. But my favourite is probably Hey Jude.

I want to say my favourite album is Revolver but to be honest it's sort of a tossup between that, Abbey Road, Sgt Pepper and The White Album and could be either one of them depending on how I feel at a certain time.

I only like two albums: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Abbey Road. I also like John Lennon's solo work. Other than that, I'm not a fan and it's somewhat amusing antagonizing the fans

Yeah, I grew up listening to them and still put them on every once in a while. Have a nice collection of vinyls too. Too many favorites to name but Golden Slumbers, Cry Baby Cry, and Twist and Shout are some goodies.

how can you compare One Direction to the Beatles?
Not only is their time different, but also the music.
& the Beatles were & are a way more known as One Direction. The Beatles influenced and still influence so many people and bands (I bet also One Direction).
I don't want to say I don't like One Direction, they're quite good, but it´s like you're comparing Michael Jackson to...Bruno Mars? There´s a huge difference.
So, yes I love the Beatles! They are so unique, they can change my mood from being sad into being happy in seconds. Not only their music, but also their films were masterpieces. And I love how much they experienced. Also, John Lennon, who did so much for bringing peace on earth. He and the Beatles are a big inspiration for millions of people then and now. I hope they (and Michael Jackson) will never be forgotten.
