| So, 'Mouryoumaru' is finally gone to be inwardly absorbed by the cunning Naraku, and Kouga owes his life to Kagome and those spirits, because he was two seconds from becoming part of that...thing. o.O And although Miroku sacrificed most of his health to buy Kohaku some time, won't it be in vain because Kohaku will have to die anyway, even if it isn't by Kikyo's hand? In the end, I don't think anyone was happy by the end of this episode, except Naraku of course, since he got away. xD |

Because in truth, has Inuyasha even accomplished anything yet? 189+ episodes and still Naraku lives? Think about it. xD And no, I don't see it as a spoiler because I asked a QUESTION and I haven't read any of the manga, so I'm just wondering, I don't actually know. |

| yup, no spoiler inu has killed many foes, not naraku but... (too many difficult names to write them T_T) even the leech has a special skill, if someone is poisoned he can drain the poison from him ^^ koga instead as you said, opened the plot and i just remembered, wasnt koga or koga`s friends the ones that also http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_Inuyasha_episodes_does_Koga_appear_in i will rewatch them and " i`ll be back" ^^ |

| Yet another major player is gone...and Tessaiga gets a power up from the Goraishi. I guess since the stakes were high, that made this episode better than the rest, but the pace is still lightning fast, and lots of stuff seems to happen only to suit the plot without (the tree) having any other relevance. |

I have no doubt they can finish Inuyasha in under 26 episodes... I'm almost worried that there would be room for filler episodes if they keep up this lightning quick pace. o_o |

I mean, I'm not a fan of filler, but I wish they would slow down the pacing a bit. It takes away from the effect when you're rapid-firing plot advancements :/ |

| MIROKUUUU T_T I love how InuYasha and Koga get along a lot better now than they used to. In the past there's no way Koga would have just gone alone with InuYasha's plans like he did. I also like how Kikyo's presence there didn't cause a ton of drama this time. It seemed like she was just one of their friends in a way...Just talking normally to the group...I just like that. =3 |

Well except Sessy. Glad to see at this point Kikyo's appearance doesn't kick up a fuss anymore. There really ARE more important things to be concerned about right now. Koga's pretty useless at this point... to me he was always a slightly more important side character. There's just so little development for him, while Kohaku and Kikyo have had plenty of focus. He doesn't feel important. He has no backstory and no deep relationship with Naraku like other side characters. He's also relatively weak (saved by Inuyasha most of the time) and everyone, even strangers like Kikyo, has already told him to back down and he doesn't. His "power-up" is pretty lame and is useless - he's still defeated and has to be saved! Also, he indirectly killed Rin. |

| Great and dramatic episode, best episode of Final Act so far. I was getting emotional see Miroku almost die, the suspense got to me I thought he died for a minute wild episode. |

You probably already found out, but it was only that orb that could hide any demonic presence (first used for the infant, Naraku's heart, so he couldn't be easily found). Naraku's gang got it from some demon guy back in the original anime. |

| Naruku really has some weird relation with his incarnations, like most of them just defy him Miroku is the real mvp this episode, managed to take that stone at almost the cost of his life. |

| seriously best episode so far, this series is on the right track. that infant was stupid, doesn't it? except the part that it was too easy to consume naraku, he should'v known naraku had kind of plan. it would actually be more sad if miroku would died, damn plot armour. |

| Pacing is more stable now. This is faithful enough compared to its manga. This time no details are cut and this one is good. |

| I think the Infant and Moryomaru's betrayal of Naraku sub-plot was supposed to be a bigger plot point but just like Hakudoshi's betrayal, it got reduced to a subplot because of the pacing. Other than that, this episode's pacing was actually good. Ig the reason the pacing was good is that it was a straight adaptation of chapters 439 to 448. It didn't jump around between different chapters with completely different contexts. Koga and Kikyo, that's an unusual pair. Man, Miroku really sacrificed himself in this episode. Much respect. |

| You gotta appreciate the fact that all of Naraku's incarnations and subordinates all end up betraying him, but in the end Naraku always prevails and shows why he's the biggest baddy. Now he only has Kanna and Byakuya. And of course, we have Miroku's sacrifice. Can't say I didn't see this coming considering who Miroku is. But he looked like he was going to explode. One of the most brutal scenes in the series, that's for sure. Makes me wonder what it looked like in the manga. |
