Fate Stay Night: UBW OP up there this week, nice. Jojo SC at rank 4 on the list as well. I wonder how long Nana Mizuki's OP song for Cross Ange will remain in the top 10 though.

free! actually has a chance of becoming the top-seller of summer, which makes me happy. c:

also, UBW has been up for preorder for a few days and took the #1 rank on amazon ever since. really curious if it will become fall's biggest seller...

It'll be a close battle. SAO II was tipped to be the top seller by a fair margin, but it is more exciting to see a battle for top seller of Summer 2014!

18,471 (SAO) vs 17,869 (Free! -ES-) in terms of 1st week sales. Free! -ES- has an event ticket on Vol.3 bundled, which could prop the average up, while SAO II is an Aniplex release (which will get a slight bump in sales in around a months time, and not to mention a few weeks of sales as usual).

Yes,Hanamonogatari is doing well. Good sales for Jojo.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Akame Ga Kill deserve way higher that. The last two episodes were one of the best episodes in this season.

On the other hand Free is extremely overrated. I'm surprised that it selling more than SAO II.

It's a pointless victory, because ultimately Free S2 has been a big drop from what Free S1 sold (29,033 average) and I doubt Kyoani will be happy with its performance. This has been dark times for season 2s in general, lots of big drops in recent big name sequels (Free, P4, SAO2, Chuu2 )..........

No surprise seeing SAO 2 near the top. It will be easily the top selling anime out of the summer season.

That's because the second seasons were terrible...at least p4, sao2 and chuu2. idk about free. haven't seen that.

So many favourites at the list. Cheers~

As much that I like (and want to download) Cross Ange's OP, this is the first time that I liked an Eri Kitamura song and I wish its on the top too. Oh well.
The world shall know the truth soon.

Strange, it's almost 50-50 while in the first 2 volumes it was 80% blu-ray and 20% DVD.

I had to drop Sailor Moon, it was just too boring for me and the animation and derpy faces...ugh. I'm amazed it got this much sales as it is. Toei should have done a better job on it.

Nozaki-kun, Barakamon, Haikyuu!! and YowaPeda doing nicely, good news!

A real shame about Ao haru ride, but its shoujo, so what do you expect? Sigh. Still, it got a great manga boost. Isshuukan too, is a bit low but hopefully it adds more BDs and reached 3k next week. Isshuukan also got a great manga boost, from not ranking at all to 120k!

And I'm so happy about the Psycho Pass BOX! Season 2 looks ok on Stalker so far, let's hope it can keep the momentum.

A lot of series drop for their second seasons, its natural. Not to mention Free! is a female oriented series. I'm sure Kyoani is just fine with Free! ES's performance. It still sells a lot of character songs, drama CDs, radio CDs and other merchandise.

This has been dark times for season 2s in general, lots of big drops in recent big name sequels (Free, P4, SAO2, Chuu2 )..........

A lot of series drop a lot for their second seasons, its natural. I'm sure Kyoani is just fine with Free! ES's performance. It still sells a lot of character songs, drama CDs, radio CDs and other merchandise.

I'm pretty sure KyoAni is more then "just fine" with the fact that their Original anime series is breaking 20k.

Which is kinda weird because it actually ranked highly in Nico Nico ranking among summer 2014 anime.

Either only NicoNico users like Akame or not many people in Japan aware and watch Akame due to lack of promotion. Akame manga is published in Gangan Joker, which I heard is a minor magazine.

I'm happy to see Free! still on top. KyoAni is the god of anime and SAOII is nothing but a one hit wonder. Death to aniplex.

So the new Aikatsu OP/ED didn't rank. Do Japanese people not like the third season?

holy shit.
free! actually has a chance of becoming the top-seller of summer, which makes me happy. c:

It's a pointless victory, because ultimately Free S2 has been a big drop from what Free S1 sold (29,033 average) and I doubt Kyoani will be happy with its performance. This has been dark times for season 2s in general, lots of big drops in recent big name sequels (Free, P4, SAO2, Chuu2 )..........

33%~ drop is not that bad, its actually rather normal.

Why is that? Not even the people selling them think that, that's why it's coming in just 3 box sets.
Overall I'm just kinda suprised about Aldnoah, didn't realize it sold nearly 10k with volume 1, but something is off about it, someanithing.com already said but Aldnoah sold like 3 times more DVDs than w1v1 and only like half the BDs.

Never watched Free not my thing, but I will say Akame Ga Kill is massively overrated on places like MAL.

If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

the link you gave us is called Yaraon, it is only a small group of people, and we can call them elitist at some point. the link I gave is everyone who watches Niconico rate
about Barakamon, look at niconico channel http://ch.nicovideo.jp/barakamon/video?sort=f&order=d
you see episode 1 has 300k views, episode 2-12 only has about 4k views each, which mean lack of people watching it, may be due to putting videos on this site too late, then the lack of votes

It's just because of Urobutcher, Argevollen isn't even going to rank.
