| What the heck...elder Toguro tells her to stop counting and she listens to him and stops? o_x Wtf? I can't wait to see how Kuwabara gets out of this, the Toguro creep needs to be taught a lesson, it seriously ticked me off when he said Genkai was jealous, and the dolphin-chick just stops counting for him because he tells her to. xD Though, I think the sword and yoki surrounding Kuwabara was sparkly and pretty~ :D |
| It somehow saddens me when I see guys who have this kind of power NEVER using it to its full extend... Heck even Luffy rubber powers are a downgraded version of Elder Toguro's abilities. In any case, it's a good episode, Kuwabara fights are always interesting, and this looks like it's gonna get bloody! |

| I'd much rather have the cat referee for the match, she has passion for what she does, the dolphin chick is only there for the money. Well good episode, but come on Kurabara don't just rush and attack, think of a strategy. His other attack looked like small energy blades thrown at elder Toguro. |

| Kuwabara is my fave character, so this was a fight I was really anticipating. It's been okay so far but overall I've been a little underwhelmed. The super sword was fine (and necessary) but the sudden power boost from his resolve was boring. I was hoping we'd see Kuwabara handle feelings of inadequacy compared to his teammates, but the story hasn't really gone that direction, opting for more of a vengeance route. I thought it'd be interesting because the Toguro Bros.™ are supposed to be a big fucking deal. The cream of the crop. And here we have Kuwabara, the weakest member of the team with the highest loss count. He is now up against this seemingly insurmountable threat. The situation looked hopeless and like something that would require great strategy akin to Kurama's fights, but Kuwabara has actually managed to hold his own just by brute force and power boosts, which is making the elder Toguro look pretty underwhelming. |

| Kuwabara, dam definitely my favorite main character of the series since he reminds me of Hanamichi from Slam Dunk and hes just so dam nice too. Hope he wins and gets even stronger! |

| I can't agree with Kuwabara leveling up on the fly because of love or anger, especially when that anger turns his body into steel and gives him a random new move for no reason. Yeah, early on when Kuwabara got his sword for the first time Genkai said that people's spirit energy thrives when they're near death and that's also why he initially got his sword but man is this lazy. I did enjoy seeing how freaked out he was before the fight, seriously he knows hes the weakest on the team, I'd be freaking too. However I can say that Toguro Elder is deliciously evil. His parasyte-esque disturbing abilities and the way that he trash talks and fights dirty, everything about him is a delight to watch. Young Toguro carrying the entire ring was hella gar. My husbando. |
| Kuwabara's fights always bore me, he is all talk and no action. I knew he would be stronger when he heard about Genkai because he's a good for nothing that needs the power of love or anger or things like that to win. That's why I didn't want him to find about her at the moment. And don't get me wrong, love or anger are good things. Yes, they make you stronger but no to the point where you get a power out of nowhere and win. Feelings are there to support you for the lack of other word. Btw I can't even believe he's THAT stupid to think he won right after 1 minute on the ring. I hope he uses his brain in the next episode if he's going to win. |

| This episode was awesome! Kuwabara's fear and his anger, Elder Toguro's awfulness made this. Kuwabara definitely made some really dumb mistakes, but I was furious at Elder Toguro. I started to tear up about it. The fight reminded me of a job I had where my co-worker was a total creep, varying between fake kindness and utter abuse. He used everything little thing in his power to hurt me, every little loophole and lie he could do. Also, yeah Toguro should have lost with the count out, but that's the rage against this garbage. Also, Kuwabara's public service announcement about alcohol was funny and cool and good. |

| So, the red hair guy lost a match a few episode ago because he was on his knees when he finished off the opponent. Now this dude is on the ground at the count of 8 all cut into pieces and says to the referee to stop counting and she DOES??? The f*ck? Get another job somewhere... You are terrible. And Kuwabara, please go back to the awesome character you were prior to this arc please. Stop with your asspulls every match. |
| Really underwhelming fight. I've loved Kuwabara's fights up to now but this one is more relying on him being angry enough to raise his spirit power properly. We had so many episodes in the tournament which could have been spent showing Kuwabara training or acquiring a power-up which *wasn't* a last-minute thing, but that pretty much goes for everyone else. Just waiting for Yusuke's fight at this point. |
| i'm starting to get annoyed with the "haha no need to count the fight is already ov- NANI!? HE'S STANDING UP!" that predictable shit literally been done in every single fight in this tournament. Only silver lining is that Togashi stopped doing that in HxH. |

| The Elder guy was down for 10+ seconds but because he told Juri to stop counting... she just did that somehow... It bothers me because the 10-count was such a huge thing in Kurama's fight, and now it suddenly feels so unimportant. |

| God Kuwabara learnt the truth about Genkai the hard way, he really did. Harsh and twisted as it mean have been coming from Elder Toguro, he basically used this information to openly mess with him mentally and then get him when he's down, what a monster. Here's to hoping he can actually beat him Kuwabara that is. I gotta admit Young Toguro carrying the new arena on his back was pretty hardcore. |
