| Wow. That's some serious harsh criticisms. I don't even think they are considered constructive criticism in this case but pretty much a mockery. Anyways, the last quote sums it up my thoughts as well: "Adults can only judge a small part of us" Our Smiles and Tears are Ours alone". |

| Sad for me to say but is all feels way too cheesy, they all smile and act all friendly. It would be more interesting if it all was Shoko imagination as Ishida lay unconscious at the hospital and dies at the end. Seeing Yuzuru cry as she sees her sister laugh is effective but cheap trick. |

| That's the kind of criticism that is designed not to improve the film, or to help beginning film makers, but to show just how superior and edgy the judge giving the criticism is. There was also some intentional irony there as the guy who was saying that Nagatsuka's mustache was the sign of an over-inflated ego had exactly the same style of mustache himself. Douchebags are douchebags the world over... It was so nice to see Nishimiya laughing naturally in the family restaurant. |

| I really think that judges who are that harsh are doing to it to completely kill the dreams of the kids trying to make it. Then only the ones with the thick enough skins will try again. Unfortunately most creative people ( most people in general ) can't get over criticism that harsh. I guess it cuts down their competition. Some artists and art critics are the same way, very pretentious. There are certain movie reviews who routinely bash almost everything. |

| And none of the "friends" learned ANYTHING during this manga. It seemed like they changed, too, but in the end, only Shouko and Shouya learned from what they did and live through. That's actually sad since I really like the manga and it ends on a bad note in that matter. Now I can only just hope there's a step in Shouko x Shouya's relationshop to even it out. |

| This chapter was great. Seeing this group of friends getting along as if they've been that close for years is truly a spectacle, considering that they were all at odds with each other not too long ago. That judge from the competition is such an asshat. I'm honestly not sure how he got off making all of those baseless and unsupported claims about the purpose of their film. Half of everything he said was him talking out of his ass. How about some actual criticisms. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |
| Lol that judge has a bad case of shit taste, esp when he just flamed on Nagatsuka's image even those it was pretty much identical to his own...plus not sure how no1 in the audience shouted against those ludicrous remarks... ehh only 3 chapters left, c'mon Shouko! |

I think all that matters to me in the end is what happens to Ishida and Shouko so that makes it easier, but it really is frustrating since we spent a good month or so waiting for updates with chapters focusing solely on these underdeveloped characters. But like I said last time it'd be even more unrealistic for everyone to figure out their problems from this one experience. Sahara and Ueno probably could have developed more and I'm fine with how Yuzuru turned out but the only thing about Kawai that pisses me off is that she gets to be friendly with everyone even though she's probably the most two-faced about everyone there. |

| That judge don't know how to judge. Man, it's their first movie and that's what will the judge say. They did their best though. Btw, I didn't notice that there was a subtitle on the movie. How cute of Nishimiya-san :3 |
| Those last words, so true. I feel like the first fourty chapters were the gold in the mine, but then it had a great chapter here and then. I'm only commenting because I'm a bit tired of seeing the same thing happen to every manga I read to the end, ookami no manshou is an example. So many frustrated expectations, for both manga.... I'd say the creativity and patience wears out. Ookami no manshou had one hundred chapters ; another example would be The Friendly Winter, a webcltoon, different I know, but the author admitted having to doubling the webtoon when pressured by his superiors. Forced is a better word. Still a very good read. I genuinely thought it was very nice. |

| Wow, Shoya's interacting normally with his classmates. Way to go! I was pleasantly surprised when I read that their movie had got through the preliminaries. But what sort of a judge is that? That's a horrible judge with no sense of art and not even capable of giving constructive criticism. That criticism was downright destructive, and what's worse, it wasn't even right! He completely missed the point of the movie and belittled Tomohiro so much. His comment on Tomohiro's reason for making the movie a silent movie was just dreadful. He basically disrespected deaf people. Shame on him and I hope he loses his career. But what a lovely moment at the end. Shoko couldn't stop laughing! She was so sweet! And it was great too that she was interacting peacefully with Naoka :) |

| One thing you learn after watching a lot of movies and reading a lot of critic reviews, is that the legit critics will back up their claims. Not saying they're all rays of sunshine or good people, but it's useful to spot those who play up the snooty critic angle for attention (which is what this guy was doing). This critic knew that giving constructive criticism is boring and the crowd is more interested in mockery, so he supplied just that. The fact that the movie's creators were young made it even easier. It's good that they took it as an opportunity to improve. |
