1. Why did Capital let Aida escape so easily in ep.3?

2. Why didn't Bellri even try to stop Aida from escaping knowing where she's going?

3. What is Su-Cord that Bellri shouted in ep.4?

It just seems like Bellri is always so whatever with his attitude. Aida wants to go back to the pirates? Sure I'll tag along. Oh they want me to fight off my own people, sure. It just doesn't make sense that Bellri is going along with everything. Did Bellri seriously feel like he's indebted to Aida because he killed Cahill? Seriously it's proper self defense

Makes you wonder how Bellri knows to call out that command. He should have no knowledge of the machine's capabilities.

Now that does make some sense if you consider they live in a peaceful era, something that just didn't strike me since gundam series were never in a peaceful era. I noticed in most fights, people try to avoid killing others, but it's still a fight and accidents do happen. It's hard to me to imagine that "space pirates" and the capital have never killed each other. Given if they do, I think Bellri should've been more cautious.

Still doesn't make much sense that Capital let the prisoner escape with the mysterious mobile suit

To have pretext to make sanctions etc. it's even explained in episode 4.

+ The plates on Aida's G-Self identified her both as a registered and independent unit in the Ameria's army. Therefore, she demanded to be treated according to accepted POW agreement, dumbly giving herself away that she is not in fact a pirate as she initially claimed. Apparently, in this case, the Tower can't treat her as a criminal, but should call for sanctions on the representative country/party instead. I suspect that if she had insisted on being a pirate longer, she would have been left to the Capital Army's doings instead to the Research Division.

Bellri is a cadet at the Captial Guard, but obviously not part of the Capital Army. Since the Tower killed the other terrorists (the taboo breakers) and Klim appeared in the mean time, it all boils down to how Kumpa plans to play the conflict, pawning even the Operational Director's son (sending Bellri away was clearly on purpose, although it's unclear why exactly).

The Tower does have a superior status, yet seems to be a part of some treaty with the countries on the Earth. In episode 4 was hinted that the Tower is also a subject to some of the "taboos" as the others, but occasionally bypass them as the others - break them.
It's a very similar situation to 0079 UC, where after the One Week War and the Antarctid Treaty forbidding the usage of WMD, Zeon and the Federation are still in a war, attempting to work around the treaty regardless (0800, 0083 are good examples of this).

Moreso, it seems in G-Reco all parties expect something to hit from space (?), which adds another line of motives and confrontation.

Thanks for filling me in Zellami. Appreciate the time you took to explain this. What's your thought on Bellri and the crew following Aida? He could've let her go by herself from the sanction.

I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that Aida in fact attacked Tower, which is a crime. For her to be sanctioned so easily, I hope the conspiracy gets explained more in the future

Episode 3 mentioned SU-cordians, who followed a religion of treating the capitol tower as a sort of energy-supplying god. Why did Bellri scream that shit? No idea. I have a feeling the G-Self responded to Bellri himself rather than the words.

I can't be certain, but some reasons:

POW =/= criminal
a space pirate = > no trial, immediate death
a POW = > trial, sanctions, negotiations, exchange of POWs, reparations, etc.

That is, in the second case there's a party you talk to, especially if you and the party are in agreement; also, there's difference of judging a soldier doing his job, be him or her on the enemy side, and a soldier, committing criminal acts while on duty, be it on your or the enemy side.

About Bellri, PS gives a good suggestion:

Bellri and the others responding to the G-Self would be friends, foes, chased, used because of the powerful machine they can drive (the G-self has a monstrous supply of packs, compared to the other mechs shown so far).
The thing about Bellri is that while the G-Self is reported to be compatible with universal technical standards, everyone should be able to pilot it. Apparently, Klim couldn't (being a tensai and all :D ), but RaRaRa (sorry, can't fork her name just yet), can get in link. Aida concluded that the Recten Bellri piloted in episode 1 was modified in tabooish way to perform that good, but it might be because of Bellri and his skills. This means that a new set of different kids has emerged, and they are scattered throughout earth and space.

One possible route is to act depending on the situation more often than according to some strict affiliation :) I know it's a bit confusing, but the more reasons what Tomino intends to put on the table with G-Reco.

Yeah :) Unless Jupiter, which is the most vague thing for me in the whole franchise.

Umm by original gundam I meant the original UC era shows 0079 zeta zz CCA. But never heard anything about Butterflies or Jupiter.

Chill bro.

But yes I do prefer godlike art ost and battles with my plot they serve to make the show that much better ;)

Thx anyway
