| That was actually a really well done recap episode. It was more of an Abridged telling, rather then a recap of the event. |
| A lot of people hating on this episode, but I thought it was nice to watch. No new material besides some of Sinon's narration of the past events (which made it seem not as redundant) , but I think they showed some of the series most important moments pretty well. |

| Pretty much a recap from episode 1-14 from SAO II but im guessing it had a brake after episode14/halfway through the anime and did this before starting it again. im i right? but then again its halfway through and guessing they want to recap it all when is was airing and all, before starting a new story. but think in overall it was okay. |

I can think of two reasons, recapping the whole arc to move to the next one for once and for all, and the fact that the show aired weekly, so by episode 14, there would have been 14 weeks (if there were no breaks in between) since the show started, maybe some people would want a refresher on what happened. However, for us binge-watchers now, it loses every reason to exist, unless, people would take breaks in-between arcs to if they ever decided to continue watching, there is always going to be a recap to set them up. |
