The Japanese government has more become desperate for immigrants and awards you Japanese citizenship with housing provided, a job, tutors if you need to learn Japanese, the whole kit and caboodle.

The catch is if you have a young daughter or daughters (under 14 years of age) currently or you have one or more of them while living in Japan at least one must become an idol by age 14 (studio and group doesn't matter) or you will all be sent back to your home country. Also, your daughter must stay an idol until she fails to sell CDs and/or is kicked out because of it and merchandise or until she's age 30, also if she's kicked out for other reasons you all can stay but if she fails to pass any audition before age 14, you will all be sent back. Would you go with it?

PS: Adoption isn't a loophole, if you adopt a daughter unless she's 15+, the rules still apply.

Not having kids is always an option, especially in Japan.

I would accept the proposal. It would be a way to see my daughter in a small bikini, indirectly.

wtf japan?

If she wants she can do it, but if she says no, I will stay in my country.

Daughter > Everything.

Eh, this is a lot of pressure on the daughter, so naturally I wouldn't be inclined to participate in something as folly as that.

There are quite a few idols in the industry that are ugly, just not in the big groups.

What if I'm not interested in becoming a Japanese citizen in the first place?

Yeah, yeah, heresy I know.

I would, but only if my daughter becomes an idol. She can write my favorite songs :)

Then the whole what-if scenario is meaningless, because this is probably aimed at weeaboos people liking Japanese culture.

@ topic:
loophole option #2: I'd only have male children.
loophole option #3: I'd fake an audition and present it as "successful".
loophole option #4: They'd become desperately enough to not enforce those silly rules.
loophole option #5: Instead of using such methods, they'd rather try to motivate or even force their own people to have more children.

It wouldn't work in real life.

lol

Already being done with no results, and a law forcing native Japanese to have kids would never pass.

@ Hoppy: loophole option #3 would be still valid since it doesn't say anything about it having to be a professional audition at a real/prestigious casting show.

Forcing them to have children is more likely than your whole idol fetish scenario, though.

Eh, I'd rather go about getting citizenship and shit some other way. Not use my daughter for a free ride through it all. If it were me, I wouldn't want to be forced to do something like that.

If she wants to be an idol then, by all means, let's all go to Nihon~
If she doesn't want to then I will be the daughter and I will go to Japan myself as the aidoru.
Plot twist.

I must have too low a beauty standard for other people. I actually think they look decent.

I'm not interested in a Japanese citizenship, but having an idol daughter seems interesting.

I'd take, it's a win-win situation.

Considering that you have to give up any other citizenships you hold to get the Japanese one, no thanks. If it's about an indefinite leave to remain in Japan, then I'm in. Of course I have no daughters.

You can't have dual citizenship in Japan.

Another Loop Hole option
Have daughter move day before she turns 14. And bring her back the day after she turns 15.
Send her to a housed school or some bullshit

Lol whats the catch?

I don't see how making your daughter an idol is a problem, unless she doesn't want to be one.

Was thinking the same, a good catch would be if you cant watch anime or read manga.
Or idk getting your nuts chopped off or something
