| Meh. This is another one of those Ecchi series... My god why can't people that watch echhi just switch to hentai or watch porn? I really hate this genre, not without reason too. This genre is way too over-saturated with shitty series, the Japanese anime industry is milking the shit out of it with shitty series that get a shitton of sales for absolutely no reason while the real good well written and directed original series get an abysmal amount of sales. Producing an ecchi series is a lot more sure to get you your money back without much effort. Maybe watching 1 or 2 Ecchi series is fun, but watching the same thing 10 times over isnt. They should try to innovate somehow instead of copy&pasting everything and getting rich off of it due to the idiocy of the 'otaku' crowd. This is like the very definition of social degeneracy. Having pretty 2D character's pants and boobies on screen for the duration of an entire episode gets old pretty quick..... Well I will watch, but all it looks like is just another echhi series with nothing going for it aside from the cliches of anime and the ecchiness.. Of course by watching I mean i will try to endure the bullshit and lack of logic I will be sure to encounter. Well maybe it will surprise me? Hopefully. But I severely doubt that. Well in any case the character design isn't bad; its pretty good. In any case I'm not trying to insult or offend anyone, this post is purely my own personal opinion not aimed at starting an argument or assessing the Ecchi genre objectively. This is a pure subjective view of the Ecchi genre and this anime as part of it. In any case sorry for the rant, Its slightly irrelevant to the topic at large but yeah. |

Because there's not much else to watch in a season other than maybe 1 or 2 shows. Next season is pretty abysmal other than Durarara season 2 and Tsukimonogatari. This season the only show that I really look forward to is Parasyte adaptation. Terraformars is a bit lame, PsychoPass is it's usualy edgy self which appeal to teens and other than that I'm just rewatching old stuff. It's hard having not pleb tier standards You've already named more than 1 or 2 shows this season that do not contain ecchi, and there's plenty more you did not mention. The point is if you don't like ecchi, there's plenty of shows that do not focus on it. Whether or not you like those non-ecchi shows is irrelevant. Please don't quote me as a vapid excuse to spout off your shit taste. Thanks. |
