School and/or college destroys most of my free time. If I watch anime, it's at night on weekdays or weekends when I have most homework and/or studying done. I mean, I have to get up at 3:30am tomorrow morning and study for an exam I have 4 hours later. lol I try not to let watching anime consume my life(in this case, free time), but when watching a series, I spread it out on an interval of a few weeks.

I sometimes watch an episode a day, sometimes its two or maybe an anime movie and sometimes I go a week or two without watching any anime. If you have time to watch the news or a tv show then you at least have time to watch an anime episode.

Haha! Well honestly, I don't have a hard time watching a bunch of anime everyday... I ALWAYS get my homework done... And I get good grades. On weekdays I watch anywhere from 0-5 episodes of anime... Usually depends on what I'm watching, and how much I like it... Aaand also how much time I spend on MAL... :)) And I usually read manga as well as watch anime during the week days...
On the weekends I usually watch about 10-20 episodes a day. Depending on what I'm doing, if there are any parties or anything, and then also if I have a friend over/go to a friend's house... So sometimes I only see like 5 episodes of anime on a weekend day... And once again, this also includes reading manga inbetween... :))

Ohhh... And also: I only WISH I could skip school... My mum won't let me... :(

I think a few people mentioned this, but try to coordinate and organize when and what you're going to do on certain days. If you have a major test, likely you'll have to cut down on watching and study. So, try to schedule your time so you can watch during days where you can just sit back and relax without having to worry about all that workload crap the next day (....unless you have a job too.) All in all, you should think ahead and see which days are the most open and free and use those as breaktime. Don't try to force yourself to watch every single day. It can really screw you up in education if you end up failing an important test just because you wanted to watch two episodes of "that." Haha.

Never had a problem allocating time for fun, whatever I was at school, college or working, I didn't need much time to study & the works hour take only a fixed portion my time. try to "invent" a new studying system that doesn't take much of your time, thus freeing-up time for Anime & other things you like.

During the OP's and ED's I used to do my hw XD

But now my laptop and computer is broken so now I can't watch any anime at all. :<

I started watching anime when I was around 10-13. So all my time is just accumulated through the years. :3

It pays to be old sometimes. XD

I can understand your pain~ Ever since I started work (where I had to work from 8.30am to 9pm >.> looooooooong working hours) I honestly have no damn time at all. When I get home at 9pm, I instantly sat on my computer and watch anime/manga, games, forums and do as much as possible in such limited time. Well for me, multi-tasking is really essential so I had been practicing multi-tasking as much as possible recently~

I only watch anime right before I go to bed, it's my best time. I watch my one episode of the series and then doze off to something else on TV. Usually just two series at a time and then the airing shows over the weekend.

I usually watch my anime during a set day of the week where my sisters and I watch all of our usual anime (mainly about 5). If it's just me alone, I watch when I get home from school... if I somehow get addicted, I lose track of time and watch more and ignore the rest of what I'm suppose to do (bad habit)

Well, college is school, but it's not elementary, middle, or high school. So...my brain hurts!

Pfft... I get up early and watch mine. 6am - 7am on school days and 8am - 9am on weekends. In the evenings, I get a LOT of homework due to crap timetabling at school means we get 2-3 hours less lesson time than we should (for each of my 3 subjects) :(

Roll on 12 free lessons a week! (out of a possible 25).

Well, when you tend to just not do homework or anything really productive, it frees up lots of time.

Also I tend to shave off hours of sleep just to watch more.
Not really healthy but still...it's anime.

It is tough.
But personally I just watch like one a day.
It makes me happy and it is a nice filler in my afternoon.

I....don't really know.

The only days I just don't have time for anime is one week every three months (Explosion of exams on my school) and if there's homework I do in on the morning since I wake up two hours before going to school.

Also watching series that air weekly help a lot.

I watch anime mainly with meals. Or to break up doing housework as a means of taking a breather.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

Before I got a job and started college I used to watch anime all the time. But nowadays I have to wait till winter or summer break to watch and catch up on some series that i'm way behind on.

Tight schedule. I plan when I am going to study, and do other house jobs i take care of, mix that with my training period and school, and there is always enough time for three- four episodes of an Anime.

Also, I sleep about 7 hours maximum, so I don't lose time there.

It's very easy to rack up time... just like 4-5 episodes a day, on average, and in 2 years or so you got what i have... that means people who have been watching for 20 years at that pace have almost 2 years of anime under there belt... which is now kind've amazing when i think about it.

Unfortunately, I've started to sacrifice sleep so that I can watch anime. Sleep really takes a back seat to other things when you're in college. But then again, I rather have 5 hours of happy anime dreams than have 7 hours of stress filled nightmares.

Yes, of course university is much harder! But high school is hard enough for a child, right? ^_^

Me too. I don't want it to become my habit!

When I'm starting a new anime, it's some kind of marathon. So I usually watch about 5,6 episodes every day and then, take a long break from anime.

Now I'm in the middle of marathon, so I got eye bags x)

I used to have TONS of time for anime last year, even during weekdays.

But this year I have exams so I need to concentrate on studying, so I've quit watching new anime for the time being, bar weekly episodes of animes I'm currently watching.

And it sucks. ;w; I have so many things I want to watch, but can't. I can't wait until my prelims are over. ;-;

I'm in college and that would usually mean I have less time to watch anime, but sadly it's given me MORE time to watch it. Yes I have a full schedule but the classes are easier than they were in high school so I have no need to study. Because of that, and my lack of a car and social abilities, I watch anime a lot more in college.

Is it sad? Meh I guess, but you do what you love and for me it's to watch anime. Heck since last wednesday I've seen 5 series. I don't know if college will get more busy or not, but for the time being I'm fine watching my anime.

When I was in school, we had an anime club, so I didn't have to worry about not having any time for it.

when I was at school I never studied not even the second time I had to take nationwide exams for university =D.
Instead of studing then I saw all the seasons of naruto in a week =P -do not take this as an example!!!-
Anyway even when I was in university-which I dropped- I watched anime all day long, except from the times I was reading literature or hanging out.
Even when I was working i didn't sleep so I could watch anime x)
I am an otaku I suppose =D
