So I didn't realize Psycho-Pass 2 was coming up so fast, and I really wanted to watch that with the people as it released. Haven't watched the first season yet, so all this week until Friday I'll be binging it.

What do you guys think of Psycho-Pass? Are you excited for the second season? Will I myself go psycho drowning myself in this show? Answer.

No spoilers, of course.

and there was a poll in japan that says the most anticipated anime this season is psycho-pass 2

I'm also pretty much on the same boat. Does anyone know whether I should watch the original or the newer release (are there any major difference to speak of?)

Love it. Best cyberpunk show from Production IG since Ghost in the Shell: SAC.

Mediocre piece of dystopian fiction hampered by a weak cast, out of place quoting and a lame end.

As a cyberpunk fan I was more impressed with its concept than execution, but it still made for great entertainment. Never been the biggest fan of Butcher's villains though, and the shotgun approach to lit dropping could have been more focused. I liked Tomomi's character the best by far.

Interesting show but shitty, pretentious, quote spewing antagonist. Apparently the author of Hamatora is writing the script, and we all know how terribad that show is. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Well Psycho Pass is essentially Ghost in the Shell's little brother.

YAY!

I'm glad to have it sooner rather than later.

Its a good show, but the way they ended it --- it really did not need a second season. It ended perfectly. And the second season is by a new director I believe, and thats never a good thing.
I'm definitely excited for the new season, but I have a bad feeling about it.

Urobuchi didn't actually have much to do with the making of Aldnoah.Zero. He's more or less completely detached himself from the series and takes zero credit for it even admitting that he would have done things differently if he were actually in charge.

Same goes for Psycho Pass 2 which I should mention he has absolutely no involvement with.
