Yep, knew it was coming to an end soon, especially considering the movie is in 2 months. Despite all the shit it gets, this was my gateway anime/manga. It had some good parts, ok parts, and really crappy parts, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. I doubt the franchise is done yet as evinced by the "Naruto Era Project" but I'm interested to see how Kishi will wrap up these final 5 chapters.
an awesome ride , not what one would call super quality content but a shounen that raised many shinobi all around the world. hope for a fitting end to each and every character that left his stigma and will be remembered.
Everybody has the right to have his own opinion on something. And you do have the right to disagree with them. But that doesnt give you the right to impose your opinion on others, even though you do have the right to think you are fucking awesome.
I'm not a big fan of Naruto but i enjoy the anime.
For 15 years being a top anime, finally it come to an end.
Well, sooner or later this kind of news will happen eventually.
But, still i'll miss Naruto every week.
Good job Masashi-sensei.
I'm looking forward to your super next project
If they play this song on the last episode I will cry
Naruto is the first anime/manga I physically owned (Besides the pokemon 2000 movie) I remember my brother bought it for me "because it looked like dbz". Goddamn its been so long since this journey began, you are almost there Naruto.
I'm not caught up to the manga or anime. But I hope it ends with a bang. This series is great overall, I don't care what the haters have to say about this series it brought in a lot of new anime fans in the medium even if you don't like the series it should get some respect around here.
Any ways, I give this anime my Respect. Naruto will never be forgotten by its fans or its haters. Great series.
I'm not a Naruto fan, and I feel pretty shocked about this. Then again, I think it's good that it's finally approaching the climax, because there were other news about Naruto reaching the climax from last year and two years ago. :P
I know it has it's flaws, and plenty of them, but Naruto was my gateway drug anime. I gave up on the anime format, but I have kept up to date with the manga longer than just about anything else, ever. So I feel a bit sad at the news. At the same time, I'm happy to see it finally end. Now, the biggest question remains, what ship will win the race. NxSakura, NxHinata(my vote)?
I'm extremely interested to see how the anime community will react. Will it be a solemn farewell? Will there be unimaginable rage? Will no one care and it'll pass like a breeze? This is a series that, for better or worse, left its mark on anime, so what happens after is something I'll be paying close attention to.
Stitches327 said: I knew it was coming to its end but its still sucks know its happening. Been following Naruto since my childhood and with it going it sorta feels like a piece of it goes also.
Agreed...this is the manga I've been following for the longest before the time I became addicted to reading manga. Despite its flaws and okay enjoyment of the arc that happened this summer, I will really miss it. I'll probably feel even more empty than I did when FMA finished.
Although I enjoyed the show less and less as it went on, I really appreciate the fact that it got a lot of the western audience into more anime. I'll probably marathon it when the anime catches up and ends also.
