| Amazing first episode, even though some things were skipped. Yuuji's voice was perfect for his mysterious yet badass aura. Those last two minutes made the episode for me. I always loved that soundtrack used for those two minutes. Wished they kept the beginning of the game though to show more of Yuuji's 'character'. |

| It has promise, seeing the girls animated when you're used to the VN is quite nice. That VA definitely works for Yuuji and that ending definitely got me excited for the rest. |

| Alright! Beams of light. Yay... Is it too much to hope that one of the tv-stations will air it uncensored? Cause this was kind of obnoxious. It's probably too much to hope for though. They need some hook for the BDs after all. You'd think the show itself would be enough for that, but apparently not. Alas. I haven't played the game, but i've read plenty of lines from it. This episode felt very standard, introductory, though it did get more serious than i expected. I'm interested to see where it goes. |

I agree with you, the first half of the episode seemed really rushed but the second half really ended brilliantly. Which makes me feel a bit bitter as I was worried this adaption may not do the VN any justice. Obviously, some content had to be cut out as Grisaia has a massive amount, let's just hope when they continue to leave sections out in the future, they make it a bit more fluid. Also I don't mind fanservice per say in my shows as long as they are well integrated into the plot. Didn't like some of the unnecessary panty shot angles but didn't mind the things which made sense. Either way, I'm excited to watch the next episode. First episode alone, I would give the show a 7/10. Hoping the show continues to improve and makes me want to rate it higher. | It was actually quite good. There was a lot of foreshadowing in this episode. I'm wondering what's with Sachi and that bomb. I don't remember that in the visual novel. Yuuji was done excellently. His voice really reflects his diligent and monotone nature. His inner thoughts were pretty well placed also. Looking at the name of the next episode I would say that each girl will get one episode dedicated to them. This means that the drama won't start for another couple of episodes. It'd be pretty stupid to start the drama earlier than that. Sachi saying "Yuu-Kun" will always make my heart melt. |

| Alright. Finished watching. The wrap-up was pretty awesome as well as the scenes with Michiru. The Amane scene at the end was nicely done too. I'm not sure how to rate the episode overall though. They even showed Sachi's panties without any rhyme or reason, which was overkill imo. I'd trade all those panties shots for a non-blurred scene with Amane's rack any day. :C Vladz0r said: A reminder that the Grisaia trilogy is literally the longest VN series in existence, and this adaptation had ~350 lines of dialogue, which is pretty packed. Did they ever say they are adapting the entire trilogy? I'm pretty sure F/SN is longer than Grisaia no Kajitsu. Muvluv Alternative alone is most likely longer too... or just as long to say the least. The comedy aspect of the novel isn't pointless. I don't even know how you can say, given the fact that the huge common route is entirely focused on comedy. Grisaia no Kajitsu wouldn't be the same without it. While it's impossible to include every single joke/scene in the adaptation, some of them are pretty memorable and people will inevitably want to see them. | Surprisingly generic other than those last 2 minutes. The MC looks so scary all the time. This could be interesting; these characters all seem likely to have intriguing back stories. |
| Finally, I had been waiting for this! I hope they don't ruin the anime with all the panty shots. They shouldn't try and cram 5 routes into 13 EP, pls it needs to be at least 20. If Yumiko's route isn't adapted properly... I will find you whowever decided what'll be in this anime :P |

| Holy shit, it actually turned out to be good. I didn't expect that serious stuff at the end, and it actually surprised me in a good way. Coming from the VN, I never thought I'd see the anime take on its own flair in a way that actually makes me want to see more. 8/10 keep going, 8bit. |

| The animation is good. They skipped a few things, but the first chapter was very solid, the highlight being the ending. My only complain is the big amount of fanservice and panty shots, but is nothing noteworthy. I'm pleased so far, hoping for a 2cour anime. PS: Mitcher is best girl. |

| Oh wow, I certainly was not expecting the episode to end like that like legit. I was so distracted by the fanservice that hory shet, knives, bombs, and lock picking. The animation reminds me of some of Shaft's works which is a good thing in my opinion. The animation was too good for just a generic harem anime so thank God that it's going to be interesting. I actually am excited to see the next episode now since it is seeming like a deconstruction of the harem genre. Final Thoughts/Random Thoughts: Fucking Best Quotes of the Year: "The only other thing students do while secluded in their room is... They're masturbating?" - Yuuji "Who called a stripper to my room? Today's not my birthday." - Yuuji "They are nice breasts." - Yuuji Man, shit had me laughing my ass off. |

| Wow I really enjoyed this. I forgotten completely I love the game's OST and it was a nice treat of them having it all in there. A little sad of the censoring but I guess it can't be helped. Well if its just the sexual stuff then I'll get over it. Man I never notice all the subtle stuff in the common route till now so much foreshadowing. The best part was that last sequence showing all the girls. This is going to be a good ride if they can make this a 2 cour. |

| An ordinary school with only 6 people. It does make it interesting regarding all their backgrounds. All those panty shots... o.o The girls seems pretty interesting. Michiru was pretty funny ^^ Being called a tsundere and her reactions in general. Sasaki taking out a cutter :O Amane changing in Yuuji's room! She didn't care though. Her reaction to Yuuji talking about his older sister! She being able to lockpick and her reaction... giving off a yandere vibe :O Still, this is pretty interesting! |

| I'm officially the biggest Grisaia fanboy ever. The first episode was perfect, that ending was even more than perfect, gave me shivers. The direction was also beyond perfect. The animation had a bit of quality but was really lively, I loved it. The art was magnificent as well. Next week now please! |

| This was a rather fine first episode. There was a massive amount of panty shots, but I'm sure glad we had a nice view of that Juicy Yuuji ass. We've even got a couple monologues. Kerozinn said: I felt more annoyed by the girls than anything else. Drop I'm sorry they're not 2D enough for you. |

| So hyped for this XD Animation takes a bit of time to get used to but overall its quite good. The ending is awesome, especially if you played the VN. Really hope they don't mess this up, given the length of the VN (+50 Hours) I really hope they don't try to cram it all in! |
